The four stars are entirely for my favorite version of FFIV. The CT port is ruined by bad load times.

A standard JRPG that excels due to arguably the best turn-based battle system ever made.

The battle system is still kind of there and there's some interesting ideas at times. Unfortunately, the only two interesting characters are written out way too early and the story craters.

Classic through Pandaria was great. Everything after that, not so much. Legion was fine, though.

The rating is entirely for SOTN as I'm complete ass at Rondo. I took off half a star for "fixing" the dialog and voice acting. I get that it was cheesy but the new version is just kind of generic.

The horror is very front-loaded but still an enjoyable experience

Kind of falls apart after the twist but absolutely brilliant up to that point

Everyone has a "screw you, I liked it" game and this one's mine. It never reaches the highs of the original but it never dips to the lows either. DLC takes a few too many liberties with the Rapture plot, though.

2014

Never finished it since I couldn't get the last part to work but an otherwise great horror experience

I get what they were trying to do but the ending kind of lost me.

A decent idea that adds more than usual walking simulator but the big mystery revolves too heavily around side characters I never cared about. There's also a bit of a plot hole where one character freaks out about something that they should have already been aware of and it feels like it's just there for a red herring.

If they had been able to add content from 3, this would have been the perfect classic THPS package.

5-star game until the game insists on making you play as someone other than Spider-Man. There's also Screwball. Screwball sucks.

Needed quite a bit less of QTEs and Not-Pesci but still good.

I feel like all the KH games after the original vary entirely on whether or not you care about all the Organization XIII characters. I never did so while KH2 made multiple gameplay improvements, I thought it was kind of a step down.
