While I found it a very enjoyable experience, especially on a gameplay level, it never felt like it fully capitalized on its stakes. The characters while being nice too could've been stronger

Fun to walk around in and explore, however nothing to keep you invested from a role play perspective. After you finish the map what's next? I dunno, I didn't find anything to do afterwards

Cool aesthetic, interesting lore, the message was nice and clear. However, I didn't enjoy playing, not because it was hard, it just felt very... clunky in a sense?

I had an ok time playing outside of the Riddler stuff. At this point, I just wasn't invested anymore. I wish they used the better Azrael. The biggest issue for me however lies in... man I really hate militarized Batman dudes, it's just my pet peeve with the character

This is one of my favorite games of all time. A crown jewel of ambition, dedication, and passion, while it isn't as fulfilling as it could've been due to it being another link in the saga, it filled me with such intense joy and sorrow. Tho I recommend playing right away after you binge the series

What an absolutely charming experience. The characters are so fun, the world so vibrant, and the gameplay super rewarding to play. My biggest issue lies in the story and the characters, I want more of it and them. Things just came to an end too quickly and a more slow burn with a broader character focus on the party would do this game wonders. Also, it could glitch from time to time

A great start to the series but you can tell they still have ways to go. While it is very clunky, it still has a lot of charm that makes it worth revisiting every once and while.

A welcomed improvement over KoF 94, but not really too great of a leap in the technology. Main Heidran.

In all honesty, this is the KoF I remember the least outside of the Goenitz boss fight. Here you start to feel the real improvement in gameplay and the series coming more into its own, however, I am just kind of neutral on 96 overall

Here I really started to branch out with more of the characters in the series cause they start to feel more pickable per se. It has yet to reach the point of the early NEST saga in terms of gameplay but is getting there.

Fun dream fight experience, nice and easy to pick up, however, it is still rooted in the early days too much for me

Give it a second homie G this boy gonna get lit up in a year we just gotta get over this stepping stone

WE DID IT BOYS WE PERFECTED KOF! The gameplay is great, it feels like they finally perfected the formula. The strikers work well. The story can be super touching and get you intrigued in tons of characters you never really put thought into before. It makes you wish the buyout never happened cause the foundation they were laying down here was perfect

IF YOU LOVE GIRLS, IDOLS PRETENDING TO BE THEATRE, SWORDS, AND CLASSIC ROBOT MELODRAMA ALL DESIGNED BY KUBO-SENSEI THAN MAN DO I HAVE A GAME FOR YOU! Wish it was longer

2016

The beginning was too slow of a start and the end was way too quick. That middle section was the perfect blend of challenge that I don't think the other ends of the game have. It is still a fun experience but I wish it was more balanced.
