This game is smooth. Even if the story isn't entirely fleshed out for all characters. Even if the roster is small. Even if I can't main everyone well. This game plays like an absolute dream. Like you are floating on cloud 9. Anyone can pick up this game go wild son. Just pick the design that appeals to you the most and you'll work it out boy. Just don't get anti-aired by a raging storm

Is... is anyone interested in a review of SF1 outside of the format of it being a footnote in some sort of multiple part video series on the franchise?

Man, you really don't matter in this game. I can't even say it is fun to explore.

I never felt more proud and more disappointed when I beat Geese Howard with a perfect on my first try

Guilty Gears fans don't lie to yourselves, if you played this you are invested in these Alt Metal BDSM looking Mad Max Apocalypse Surviving loons

Even though there are parts of this game I hate with a burning passion, this is not a lie when I say, this game is one of the greatest achievements in the history of Sega and a masterclass of storytelling within the medium that everyone should try to play.

Banging music, cool graphics, and a fun storyline. Both Maria and Richter are fun to play and both have great designs. The problem is the game is super unforgiving to play as Richter, outside of his super abilities, Richter basically plays like an NES Castlevania protag, which can feel really jarring if you played Super Castlevania 4 before this

My favorite era in Batman was from 1978 till around 2000 where Batman had this really unique and distinct color palette, this striking visual style, and this odd softness to it. Especially from 1977ish till 1986. I call this the detective era of Batman. When the character was simple, pure, and refined. I saw none of that in this gray and brown wasteland that was one nuke from looking like it was a Fallout game.

It is an idea that is very fun on paper but as a game, it doesn't do anything too interesting with its concept. Eventually, all of the initial fun wore off and then you crash, and then you are like "Man I probably won't ever touch this again unless I want that bland comfort"

WE DID IT BOYS WE PERFECTED KOF! The gameplay is great, it feels like they finally perfected the formula. The strikers work well. The story can be super touching and get you intrigued in tons of characters you never really put thought into before. It makes you wish the buyout never happened cause the foundation they were laying down here was perfect

A great start to the series but you can tell they still have ways to go. While it is very clunky, it still has a lot of charm that makes it worth revisiting every once and while.

SIMON BELMONT BECOMES EVEN BETTER AT KILLING STUFF VIA THE POWER OF MULTI-DIRECTIONAL WHIPPING! Though it does make things notably easier in some cases, people that want to be punished may want a different experience
