The very first Yakuza game I've ever managed to plat. The combat is so fluid and works so very well. Being able to go into most buildings without loading and even being able to up multiple floors was a breath a fresh air. They took Kiwami 1 and expanded upon it in almost every right way possible.

I'm sure this was a good game for its time, but now it simply doesn't hold up. Going from Kiwami 2 to this was incredibly jarring and would have welcomed Kiwami 3 with open arms. I've beaten the game, but the mini games are so broken I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to get this plat.

Honestly an excellent game jam packed with mini games you can mostly take or leave. However, the plat for this is so very difficult. I haven't gotten it - it all comes down to the mini games - I'm having incredible difficulty with some of them. I will come back to this to get the plat

Much better than I thought it would be. They learned from XIII and XIII-2. You'd think controlling just one character in a turn based FF setting throughout the entire game would get dull, but it honestly doesn't. It almost feels right. Getting the plat for this was FUN as you never needed to start the game again, as the plat was never truly missable thanks to the time loop.

Got the online trophies so far. Will come back to the main game at some point for the plat.

Started this game back when it came out and only fully completed it and got the plat in 2020. So glad I didn't get rid of certain equips through the game or I would have had to start all over again. It was fun - the game gets a lot of flak for being linier (which it is), but to me it was pretty good. Granted, characters end up being very similar by the end, but that was also the case with FFX.

Pretty solid experience. Played the main game, but need to go ahead with the expansion next. To get the most out of this game, it's best to play it with friends.

Removed a lot of characters and replaced them with ones no one asked for. The story was also naff. It's no wonder they rebooted the entire franchise with the next game.

Play wise, it was okay. Nothing great. Thankfully it still has an online community, but most of them seem to be pretty much experts at the game who only fight newbies (as infrequent as they are) and refuse to move on. Managed to get help from fellow newbies and online partners to get the plat though

It's okay, but to me it's a bit boring.

This isn't really a game one can complete, I suppose, as it keeps going on and on. It also has no real objective. I've played some and it seemed okay. Since it has no ending and it's very difficult to really do anything, I'm parking this as complete. No point shelving it, as I've done what I wanted to do anyway.

Won't give it a rating yet, but what I've played so far seems interesting.

This was, in all honesty, a really good game. Sure, it's incredibly long, but it was adapted from a tabletop pathfinder campaign, so that was pretty much bound to happen.

Going all the way from a simple adventurer to owning your own barony and then to a full on kingdom and annexing other kingdoms into your own was an excellent experience. Sure, it has it's bugs and some parts are slow, but overall, the characters gripped me and the story was pretty good too.

Again, it's a very long game (even more so than Persona 5), so I can't imagine I'm going to go back to it to get the achievements. Therefore, I count it as complete.

I really wanted to think this game was great, but I didn't enjoy it too much. It was kind of a 'meh' experience. Perhaps I'm going off fighting game? Got the plat thanks to some help with an online parter. IDK, maybe I didn't like the changes they made - I got all the DLC, so there were tons of characters, but even that didn't help my liking of it. A fluke perhaps.

Other than really not liking paying an additional fee for a code to play online, unique to the game and not PS+, this was pretty fun. The Devils look terrible, but still. Thankfully the online scene is still active and the community aren't all insanely good, so getting the plat was nice a pleasant experience.

It's such a pity Link couldn't be included in this one. Nintendo, I still love you, but god damn you suck at times.
