Despite playing it for the first time 19 years after its original release, Psychonauts is easily one of the most fun and inventive games I've ever played. It is super funny and clever, I love the art and music, the game is challenging but not unfairly so, and every mind you explore is wildly different from the last with new enemies and obstacles. While playing the original Xbox version does feel a little dated here and there, I now have Psychonauts 2 to look forward to. It is installing as I write this, and I am very excited.
