No has visto placer hasta que monkey

I'd like to meet the one in charge of placing the checkpoints. Great game though :p

The real hammer is the friends we made along the way, except we didn't make any cus we were too busy getting the fucking hammer.

"Te estás empezando a parecer a tu padre"

Had to skip to the end with the power of youtube. Couldn't bare another second of this :')

Much better than the first msx game but jeeeez, i do NOT enjoy these. There are things to take out of the experience and it feels great to advance through the game but other than that it felt extremely tedious

I never got into metroid as a kid. It felt too edgy for me I guess. Now that I'm playing all sorts of new franchises, I decided to give it a shot. A friend told me about this game, so I started with this one. Holy shit. It might be up there in my top 5 fav games. There's a lot to like about this game, but I feel what I loved the most was exploring it. Often times when I explore a platformer world I either find it a bit linear or get lost and have no incentive to keep going without a guide. Here, anything I did felt like a huge deal. Every little discovery was crazy. Whenever there was a shift in tone, I felt it. Even finding more missile ammo upgrades made me feel accomplished. Also, the grip this game had on me was one no game has had on me for a whiiile. Like i sometimes got mad I had to leave the game and do something else. Not to mention the ost and storytelling through scenery and atmosphere. Dope game.

I actually liked this game more than I expected. The levels stay pretty loyal to the source game, while still being different; and they even managed to make the last boss feel satisfying, cus this time you actually get to beat Mr. Dark. The ost is a weird mix between groovy and ear bleeding (Not to mention its pretty much the Rayman 2 ost in 8 bit format). It was ok, my fav thing were Rayman's lines. Like, he did not mess around.

Never thought id actually beat, let alone play this game. I was always curious but it never went beyond that. This was great though. Both the art and music styles really work together, there's honestly some bangers in this ost. Regarding story i really enjoyed it. The alien invasion thing was nothing new but the way the game handled it and the way it impacts the world and its characters was fantastic. Pokey is a piece of garbadge and i have nothing else to say. The reason this isn't rated better is the combat and enemy placement. I really wanted to get into the world and story but this aspect sometimes made it fucking impossible. Couldn't walk two steps before encountering another goddamn enemy. That bullshit aside, really enjoyed this one.

A fun, goofy platformer. It got really frustrating at times but even some of the BS in this game managed to amuse me. The OST is nothing special imo, but it gets the job done and works well with the vibe. Solid.

This was a blast to play. Too bad the final boss was literally the most underwhelming part of the game. The OST has improved tho, which I appreciate. I'd give it a higher rating but these games just feel like a 7 to me idk

Perfect game for deranged creeps like me. I hate that random people I didn't create try to mess with the storyline tho :/

Stellar game. Loved the atmosphere, diversity in bosses, the fact that I never got bored or stuck. This game truly has no bs. The sad undertones and bitter sweet resolution to the whole story also matches perfectly with the game's narrative. You basically spend the entire game killing colossi who were just chilling in their natural habitat, following the orders of some cryptic god-like entity who probably shouldn't be trusted, and end up putting your people in danger, all cus you wanted your im guessing girlfriend back. The music isn't anything special in my opinion, but it matches perfectly and gets the job done. All in all wonderful game, really hooked me from beginning to end.
