The idea of a smash clone with WB characters is god-like. However, I don't find myself wanting to play this anymore. Like, I had tons of fun the first couple of times, but it got kinda boring for me. All I really care about at this point is seeing what characters make it in. It IS free-to-play though, but as someone who owns SSBU I don't care much to play this anymore.

God tier platformer. Extremely fun and addicitng.

This Sonic game is weird for me. I'm the odd Sonic fan that likes MOST Sonic games, even considering Unleashed to be among the best. Given the game's reception, I expected to LOVE this game. Don't get me wrong, it felt real fun to play and I really liked that they tried diving into character development and exploration with the main cast. However, the vibe of the game felt kinda off to me. I think this is a good direction for the series but I was missing a bit of the good old fun spunk Sonic games tend to have. Also, the memory token grind really made me dread playing the game at times. Like, I know you wanna extend the game time cus of Forces, but I feel like it would've still been long enough without that. Solid ass Sonic game, but not my fav tbh

They really said: "Let's make the CAMPIEST, RAWEST game ever".

My second Metroid experience. I definetely like Super Metroid a bit better, but this one was a ton of fun. I beat it in one afternoon if that says anything.

As a huge SPM and SMRPG fan, I always wanted to play this one. The first half felt a bit tedious tbh, but it kept getting better and better. I love Mimi from SPM so I adored Lady Bow here aswell. Genuinely a really cute wholsesome game :D

Gotta be completely honest, wasn't too invested in this Metroid. As a Super fan and a Zero Mission enjoyer, I feel like this game strips a lot of the atmosphere and exploration that made me fall for this franchise. Also, Metroid is the last game where I wanna be told what to do every 10 seconds. Regardless, this was a fun experience, plus the bosses were pretty dope. Solid game, not my fav metroid.

Cool castlevania game. I got stuck an embarassing amount of times, but neat experience regardless. I didn't get the best ending, but I watched it, and it's pretty dope. Still prefer ROB and SOTN over this one.

Just realized I didn't add this to my backloggd back when I played it. Great game. Perfect start to the Metroidvania format of the franchise.

I don't know enough about the community to know whether this is a hot take or not; but here it goes:

I loved this game and its characters, but I HATED playing it and will most likely never do so again.

The themes and personality this game portrays feel very real and get dark af. Noone in this game gets a happy ending, but the message still manages to be positive and hopeful.

9S' development in the story is one of the craziest I've ever seen. He started off being the quirky goofy sidekick and turned into the most emotionally broken, resentful character in the entire game.

The music is heavenly. God tier OST.

What I absolutely HATE about this game is the gameplay. I don't really know how to put it into words, it's just so boring to play. I always find myself complaining the second a cutscene ends, cus I know it's back to mashing buttons and just waiting for the health bars to drop. The only hard parts in this game are not so much challenging, but tedious and annoying. Mostly enemy spam tbh.

Strangely however, I feel like the amount of suffering I go through when playing makes me connect more with the characters (?). I still hate it, but it's somehow perfect.

All in all, a masterpiece, but I can't bring myself to give it 5 stars.

I think this is the most fun I've ever had with a Metroid game. I still prefer Super for its atmosphere and supreme OST, but DAMMMMNN. Also, wtf, the bosses go fucking hard.
