Most of the reviews on this game talk about how easy it is to get trophies for it on PSN. Okay, cool don't really care, ANYWAY.

This game is a bit of a unique twist on the shmup genre where you control two paddles with your triggers. You catch hearts and crush dust bunnies to damage the boss on the top of the screen. If either of them hits the floor, the ceiling lowers to obscure your field of view. You also gotta avoid skulls that will instakill you (unless you have a barrier)

The game is only 9 stages long and it doesn't sound like it'd be too hard to play, but it ramps up in difficulty pretty fast even on easy mode, it really tests your hand-eye coordination reflexes. To counter this a bit the game has several princesses that have different attributes from each other, so you can pick who bests suits your playstyle. (I beat the game with the Barrier Princess)

The music is solid chiptune stuff and I really like the designs of the bosses. Not much else to say. It's a very hard game, but it's a solid one.

Hollow Knight was fucking great. Defs one of my fave indies now. Only thing keeping it down from a 5 star rating (might change it to that when I play the Grimm Troupe content) is the gane making me feel lost in terms of progression.

I love how it doesn't hold your hand allowing you to explore around to your heart's content, but I also wish it at least provided a slight nudge on where to go for certain things. It defs clicked with me more down the line though.

Such a fantastic remake that feels near official in its execution. Major props to the team behind it, definitely the best way to experience Sonic Triple Trouble imho.

Fun little metroidvania-esque romp with a solid OST and excellent control

I beat the game in about an hour 54, you can defs beat it with 100% and such for less but I spent 5 more in that free DLC area the game has.

Very fun game and at the price its a steal, don't let this gem slip under the radar.

Solid hidden gem from the arcades, happy to see a re-release of it. I wish the gameboy version was included in this release though would've been neat!

Solid remake for a solid game

Missed opportunities to fix the issues that originated from Adventure (getting hit once being enough to lose an ability). I was fine with the limitation in the first 4 worlds but world 5 onward it got annoying.

Good game overall though, I prefer it over the original.

Solid game. I originally didn't like Epic Yarn because I bought it as a "don't wanna walk away from Gamestop emptyhanded" game because copies of RTDL were outta stock.

Playing this port now though I'm more appreciative of the game being more of its own thing. I found the game pretty cozy to play through. It was more of a breeze with the ravel powerups.

My main gripe with this port though is the lack of options. Should've allowed you to mix and match stuff like disabling abilities to maintain the original experience or disabling the devil to just keep the healthbar. The removal of 2 player was also unfortunate.

Overall a different kind of fun and cozy time and a servicable port. But I feel like they should've brought this over to the switch as an eshop release.

Very fun game and the potential is brimming to have something else like it in the future which I hope HAL eventually does down the line.

How abilities were handled was how I wanted Nightmare in Dreamland to handle them. They were a balance between Kirby's Adventure and Super Star in ways.

Okay jokes aside, Minnesota Cuke and the Coconut Apes is a really solid and really polished 2D platformer game which is surprisingly a fair challenge as a kid's game.

I remember first playing and beating it years back at my grandparent's house using their computer and it was a blast. My aunt still owns the game physically too.

To best compare the game to something it's similar to Donkey Kong Country in terms of the pre-rendered visuals and physics to an extent. It's hard to really explain but the physics are kinda influenced by your momentum when bopping enemies and swinging from vines.

I would recommend playing the game, but you'll have to go through tooth and nail to get it running on modern computers and even you do get it running, some graphics won't load in.

This game's ok. I prefer playing it over the original and DK Junior but that isn't really saying much.

An okay remake that really would've benefitted from a Switch release rather than being a late 3DS title.

It took me a bit to adjust to the control scheme since Grezzo opted to recreate the original's control scheme for this release. It works for what it is, but it would've been preferable to have Dark Moon's control scheme instead especially since they went out of their way to include the flashlight from that game.

Genuinely a well-crafted game that helps you memorize multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition. I discovered it back in 4th or 5th grade when we played it in the computer lab. I remember having a ton of fun with it but overtime I eventually forgot the name of the game. My only memory of it was "You play as a green guy and solve multiplication problems to progress"

The music is solid and the gameplay is simple. It's literally just solve the math problems as quickly as you can. Speedrunning the game would definitely be interesting in that aspect.

Definitely recommend if you want a quick game to burn through, you'll have to install it from the Internet Archive though.

A very solid game that I have little nitpicks with mainly in the boss department. The bosses are fun, but I wish they offered more variety instead of having refights with 2 of them 3 times. Granted it is a short game. The final boss was as bit underwhelming too.

Overall, I really like this game, but the crown goes to the original Yoshi's Island.

I got no damn clue why some people are blasting this game on here but whatever I don't care.

This game is probably one of my favorite releases from this year. I got hooked on it with the SAGE2021 demo.

I loved how versatile the Frogun itself was, the game really radiates the energy of "If you think it's possible to do some skips here, go for it" and 99% of the time I was able to. Frogun revels in its speedrun potential and I had a lot of fun finding skips and glitches. It brought me back to the Gamecube days where I really enjoyed finding glitches and bugs and using them. The game does have polish for the most part, but you can pull a ton of crazy stuff that was either intended or not.

The game does have a few issues with it (most of which have already been patched or will be patched, even moreso with the Switch version's framerate issues in some places). I wasn't too keen on the grind I had to do for coins to buy every item from the shop for 100%, even with a grind-friendly stage. The bosses were also really okay. The final boss and a post-game one were my faves, but the others were just "wait til they stop moving to hit em" type of dealio which I guess is in the spirit of bosses from the N64 & PS1 days.

Visuals look really good and I love how cute things look in the game as well. The music is solid too.

Overall, a very fun game that I was happy with playing from start to completion. The replay value is insane as well because man I really want to find more glitches and skips.

Very average, not going to get much out of it on 3DS at least. I played this on a modded N3DSXL and I overclocked the CPU just for the framerate to be stable and not choppy.

Game crashed a few times which I never seen a 3DS game do at all. That said though its a really average movie tie in game that doesn't do anything remarkable.
