great story but god the tank controls kinda blow ass. its best to play this once before you play SDR2 and DRV3 because those two will make playing this game feel vastly outdated

this game is honestly some of the hypest shit. "it hasnt aged well" shut the fuck up the game has sonic the hedgehog jumping out of a helicopter and snowboarding on the streets of sanfran. its so fucking cool

This is genuinely one of my favorite pieces of media period. It is one of the few pieces of media that can render me to tears still, despite the fact I've played it so many times I'm almost at the point to recite scenes. THIS is the Persona game that leaves me in a raw, emotional state once I get to the credits.
I played this game for the first time when I was in an incredibly dark place in my life. So I guess that makes me a little biased, but I don't really care. In my eyes, Persona 4 is a masterpiece. Golden has a little bit of crust on it, but regardless I still think it's a piece of media that is the permanent gold standard for JRPGS for me. The gameplay is addictive, the characters are great, the music is amazing, and the story is one of my favorites in a JRPG. It's a game all about vibes and those vibes are good.
