I never played Pokemon so this is the game that guided me through my formative years. It's too bad that this franchise is dead.

An absolute masterpiece of a kart racing game.
Had a surprising amount of depth when it came to team building and loadout customization. The gameplay was about what you'd expect from a paintball game.

The first shooter I ever played and still the best to this day.
The campaign was great solo or with friends. Forge was a fun way to mess around and play custom games with friends. The character customization system gave each spartan a unique look. The multiplayer is the best in the series and still holds up great today.

The cars handled alright but the story was unimaginative and dragged on far too long.

Very fun co-op game that introduces new mechanics so often that the gameplay never gets repetitive.

Of all of the Call of Duty games this is certainly one of them. Abusing incendiary rounds was the only fun aspect of multiplayer.
Great campaign and an elite multiplayer experience. Nearly all of the guns were viable to use which is a rarity with newer games. The pick 10 system was revolutionary at the time and should still be utilized.

I recently set up my old PS2 so that I could revisit some old games. This is one of the first games that I chose to play, and I’m not sure why because it’s pretty bad.
The handling is abysmal, it’s impossible to take a corner without entering a hellish drift. The track boundaries are hard to see as well. This is made worse by the inability of any of the Jeeps to drive off road at a respectable rate of speed.
The game gets bonus points for making you feel like you’re jumping to lightspeed every time you hit the NOS at least.

Had a banger of a soundtrack and played pretty decently. Times were simpler back then because they weren't labelling electric SUVs as "Mustangs."
