The core gameplay loop, customization, and art style all worked for me. With that being said, NFS needs to drop the whole “oppressed street racer” shtick that permeated this game. There is quite the disconnect when the characters are monologuing about how unfair the cops are while I barrel into a civilian’s car at 120 MPH.

There’s no way Bowser needs this many castles.

I am the undisputed stumble guys champion of the world. The bots and toddlers that populated my lobbies never stood a chance.

The Show is like Madden but instead of football it’s baseball and instead of bad it’s good.

Uber and Lyft wouldn’t stand a chance if taxis operated like this.

Gives a new meaning to the term stick drift.

Colt Canyon doesn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to rogue-likes, and that’s perfectly fine. There’s nothing new here, but everything present works very well. The gameplay is easy to pick up and there’s enough of a challenge to keep you engaged throughout. There’s a good deal of difficulty settings that can be changed if you find the game too hard or easy as well.

I will file this one under “fun games that I am terrible at.”

You know, Dude, I myself dabbled in pacifism once. Not in the zombie apocalypse of course.

We need more action-packed games that can be completed in less than 10 hours like this one. You go in, shoot a bunch of bandits, learn some western history, and feel satisfied at the game’s conclusion.

I despise the recent trend toward all this live-service mumbo jumbo. The game only needs to feel alive while I play it.

One star for every day I survived.

One star for every frame per second.

My favorite part of this game was the child labor rhythm sequence.

Donkey Kong looks like Jimmy Neutron when you use him in the Tread Carefully minigame and I think that’s notable.
