I think maybe the impact of a creative work being distorted by an observer was lessened a bit by me trying to remember how to bnuuy for an hour, and getting annoyed by the invisible walls. I'm so clueless about it in source games that I didn't even realize that this is on the portal 2 engine and that source doesn't work like goldsrc at all.

There's a point in the personal narrative where (I'm very stupid) I realized that the events are not just dramatized, but complete fiction, and it sort of reset my investment in the characters, to the point I didn't care about them as much as I had, by the end.

While I don't find the musings particularly insightful, by the midpoint they've become sparser and simply turn into strange assumptions about the player. The design of the mountain falls off a cliff as well at this point, the only memorable part being an incredibly unlucky pinball shot of a gap to tease you into thinking you might fall some actual distance again.

Naming the mouse acceleration off setting "trackpad mode" is just about the only thing in this game that actually got to me.

If there are symmetrical parts, and you only need to replace one of them, accidentally placing the lightly-used and brand-new parts in swapped slots doesn't count for completion. This will happen on the rubber bushing for every single car.
