Imma be honest, I never even touched the main game for this, I just like making/downloading character models and dicking around with them in the studio lol

Really good movie, which is why I'd rate it a 3.5 or 4.0 at letterboxd instead of a 2.5 here, where I have to take the game part into consideration.

Bring this to steam you cowards

Interesting concept, but the gameplay loop was way too repetitive and dull to keep my interest. Also, there's very little actual interaction with Ame aside from sending her emojis, which is fucking meaningless, and deciding what she's going to do for the day or the stream.

No one will ever convince me that having to fight Hollow Knight again just to get another shot at The Radiance is anywhere close to being acceptable. It's not challenging to fight the same boss I already dealt with before, it's just a tedious waste of time in order to artificially make the game longer.

You can actually jump, what a huge improvement on the NES game

Kinda sucks that the movesets are weapon-based instead of each character having unique combos and shit, but whatever, DW7 makes up for this somewhat by having one of the best story modes in the series

We already have Fall Guys at home

1993

I was a bit hesitant to go back to this one because maybe it isn't as good as I remember since it's still an early FPS game, but those thoughts disappeared as soon as I started blasting everything to oblivion, it's still as fun as it always was. Some of the later stages are confusing to navigate even with the map, and the secrets can get a bit too cryptic, but at least they are worth the effort.

2000

Holy shit Chocobo Hot and Cold actually becomes enjoyable if you play it with the fastforward on

An appropriately trash game for a trash character archetype

It's a fun and surprisingly in-depth pet simulator, but at the same time I have to admit it did get tiresome to raise a new digimon every time my previous one died, especially when I was just about ready to make some progress in the story.

This feels a lot like an official sequel to DDLC aside from some of the original art looking kinda rough, it expands on the original's story in a way that makes use of the meta elements and the file tampering while also giving the cast more development. The ending is a tad rushed and some of the details regarding the plot, the admin powers and the Third Eye can get hard to follow sometimes, but I had a good time overall, probably my favorite DDLC mod out of the ones I played.

Good battle system and interesting setting, mid everything else. At least it's better than Final Fantasy XIII.
