Doesn't really hold up, but I wish it did. A Spore game made in 2024 would probably be amazing.
It's somewhat weak from a gameplay perspective as far as roguelikes go, but everything else makes up for it. Art direction, soundtrack, voice acting, all incredible as is standard for Supergiant. I prefer Supergiant's original worlds, but they nailed the Greek mythology theme.
An enjoyable and chill way to spend some time. Not much more than that, but it doesn't have to be.
