I rarely play steath games (because I'm shit at them) but wow, the depth in the story and worldbuilding, the mechanics.......beautiful

I may pick this up again at some point in the future. Love the characters and it had potential, but just feels like a slog to play. I think it suffers from having such a vast, empty open world. Kind of overwhelming. I did a load of sidequests but barely made a dent in the main story

sexiest game I have ever played. Nothing more to add

I have a lot of mixed feelings on this one. It really grew on me over the course of playing and I don't think it's as bad as people say it is. It has a lot of good ideas, such as the phone and the psychological examinations. My problem is with the execution. Not being able to fight back is really frustrating. And I think it would've been better if this wasn't a "reimagining" of the first game, especially when the similarities start and end with character names and the basic setting. It's a good horror game with a great atmosphere, but not necessarily a good Silent Hill game.

Whose idea was it to put 300 fucking side missions in this thing?? I know they're not compulsory but if you want good items then you have to do at least some of them but ugh they just get so repetitive. I completed 40% of them and Maybe one day I'll go back and 100% the missions but that won't be any time soon.

Now that that's off my chest, the actual game. I enjoyed it. I haven't played the original so can't compare them but it's a fun little prequel. I like Zack a lot and playing as him is great. I didn't really care that much about Genesis and was much more interested in the stuff covered in og FF7 like the Nibelheim incident, so wish it was more of that type of thing. But the mid 2000s era cringe is charming, so I wasn't turned off too much by it.

Overall, fun combat (if a little repetitive), fun story which adds more to Zack's story makes for an about average game which didn't blow my socks off but was great to play when unwinding after work.

Oh, and I'm not a graphics person but it did look pretty sexy

A lot of fun. It's a bit of a shame that when Dante comes along it's just the same levels in reverse but the two playable characters have enough variety in styles that it's not dull. I enjoyed playing as Nero and the story was ridiculous but fun (what do you expect from a DMC game??)

I think this is an unpopular opinion but I enjoyed the fact that there were different themed mansions!

Idk I had fun playing it but didn't get that same kick in the brain I got from other silent hills.
Would've preferred it to be more focused on Travis and his backstory rather than it trying too hard to be a prequel because that fell flat at times. And the butcher just felt like a cheap pyramid head knock off :/ other than that, it was good. Short and sweet

I'm gonna say it. One of the best games I've ever played. Also one of the hardest games I've played but even when I was getting my arse kicked I was enjoying myself. And on top of the main story, bloody palace has given me hours and hours of fun.

nintendo wishes they could make a game this good
