This game is getting slept on in a incredible level, I dont know if the devs didnt got enough ads, but this here is a certified BANGER.
While this is isnt a 10 by open world standarts like Elden Ring and BOTW, nor by story like Nier Automata and Umineko, nor gameplay-wise with games like DMC5 and Sekiro. The style and charm of this game is really unique.
The new devs at parasight shows how important is the place where a game is made by showing how different ideas can be from different places and how a children story really important there can be translated into a modern game.
The voice acting from the main cast is ABSOLUTELY incredible, the feels hit just right from this main cast, while i dont really like the sound of the secondary characters (mushrooms) you get to see the idea that they had to make them sound like from a different world compared to Yaga and the village.
Anyhow just play this. Please, this is a indie game and its so beautiful OMG

With great action combat for the time and THE most memorable OST ever created to this day, ocarina of time is an incredible game built in a okay story, okay setting, okay secondary characters and okay ending. The gameplay and artstyle tho is one of kind and arguably the most important game to the video game industry. Water temple is ass tho

the face mechanic even though repetitive and sometimes didnt really make sense is REALLY well made and unique, i do have some pacing problems with this game tho, homicide you have a banger case and then you get into vice and dont have the will to keep playing. I think the most important thing this game is missing is a good overall narrative outside all the cases, if you are going to make a 'episodic' crime type of game you need to have a mystery outside all the cases to make it worthwhile, good experience tho
unpopular opinion: this is my favorite trails series game. Its just the perfect world building and start of a great franchise and its masterfully done. The earlier adventures feels so cozy and goes to a proportion that you dont expect ending in a perfect cliffhanger. It can be boring at the start but you grow to love it

What an incredible experience, you are going to die A LOT and you gonna hate coins for the next 3 months, but holy shit it is worth it. The artstyle, the atmosphere, the world building, characters, everything is so dark and gloomy and depressing, for sure my top 3 indie games

nothing incredible but pretty good, the combat is a bit repetitive but jumping sideways while killing a armored soldier with a stolen gun is always cool
This game feeling and atmosphere is one of the best i've ever seen.
It has that feeling of weird 2000's game that you see popping up in indie game nowadays, but this one was the OG.
The whole 'alice is batshit crazy' idea is so good too, fits really well with the books.
Gameplay is mediocre at best, good gameplay to a 2000 game tho.

huge improvement over the last games, having a duo is such a cool idea, and the game feels harder than the other two, reisen's fight is incredible
