Great game - some of the best turn based combat I've played. Really enjoyed my time with it.

I've beaten this game over 20 times so I'm making one log for it all.

I've beaten this game like 50 times now so I'm just making one log for it all

Don't care what anyone says, this is one of the best yakuza games

I went into this blind without ever playing a STALKER game before and didn't use any mods. This game has some of the best atmosphere of any game I've played. They nailed the setting perfectly. This game has a lot of player-choice and you can determine the outcome of almost every event. Your actions are meaningful and affect things like the allies you can recruit into your squad and the ending of the game.

Easily the best combat of all the RGG games, and one of the best beat em ups in general. This is the type of game you play on the hardest difficulty and deliberately don't upgrade your attack power so the fights last as long as possible because it's just that fun.

I strongly disagree with those that say this is one of the weaker DQ games. It's got a great story that isn't afraid to take risks, a memorable cast of characters, and beautiful spritework. My biggest complaint with this one is the class system. They should've just had preset classes for each character like they did with DQ4.

I enjoyed my time with this game enough to 100% it, although I didn't find it to be a masterpiece like I heard from others going into it.

Fantastic story due to the finale, decent gameplay. It is a step down from Lost Judgment in terms of combat.

I enjoyed the story a lot, but the gameplay is probably the worst in the series. Everything from combat to navigating the menus feels slow and clunky. I played on legend difficulty which amplified the issues. Still had a good time overall.

I was really excited for this, but ended up being extremely disappointed. Outside of certain fight scenes, this is one of the most boring and uninteresting games I've ever played. Forced myself to play it for around 30 hrs because I paid $70 for it, but eventually abandoned it. I don't know how they managed to mess it up this bad.

Really wish this game wasn't considered canon. The story doesn't enhance the original FF7 story in any way. It actually makes it worse in some regards. The game itself is not very fun either.

Great when it's being faithful to the original, otherwise disappointing. I'm not against changes to the original as long as they are good, such as the incredible new combat system or additional party interactions. The problem is that almost every deviation this game's story takes from the original is horrible. If they just kept this as a faithful retelling of the original it would be one of the best games ever made, but as it stands I can't even recommend it as the definitive version of FF7. Replaying on hard mode was much more fun than normal mode.
