I really enjoyed the gameplay in this. The management of the cult was so fun, I got so engrossed in it. The mix of the farming and more too was great. Oh. Just great stuff, I recommend.

The rougelike stuff was fine too I guess.

I love this game but I hate playing it knowing that ubisoft murdered Rayman right after this. #JusticeForRayman

finished my 2nd playthrough of this after having it shelved for a year, enjoyed it more than my first.

“This is good... isn't it?“

Goddamn. This is probably the most ambitious game I have ever played. It’s so incredibly overwhelming, attempting to do the impossible by wrapping up over three games worth of plot points left unanswered that fans have been clamouring to get answered now for years.

Not every question that was answered needed to be, but a lot of the answers given here were great, even if they would have been better left alone. The biggest example of this is with Raiden, as I personally felt that his arc was completed in MGS2 and that it would have been better to not have him show up again whatsoever. Of course, this game doesn’t do that, but I'm not necessarily mad with how Raiden was dealt with in this either. I think his arc, while unnecessary, was great. It was a good direction for his character to go in, and yes, it can seem like a rehash of 2 at times, but I'd rather that than them completely butchering it and going against his arc from 2. The story, while falling apart near the end and getting a little full of itself, was great. I have my problems with it, but I don’t know if I'd call it a mistake.

There is so much to love here. The cutscenes are some of the best I've ever seen in a game, the final boss is easily one of the best in gaming history, and the gameplay is the best it’s ever been in the series yet, thanks to the long-awaited addition of the crouch walk and the fascinating evolution of MGS3’s camo system with the OctoCamo. It isn’t a perfect game, but it’s definitely not a mistake either, and I love it.

A great game with an amazing first half, and although it never quite reaches the heights of that first half again, it’s still a solid ride from start to finish, leaving me wanting more and wanting to jump into God Of War 3 right now, but it’s 3am on Christmas, so probably not the best idea to start it right now.

this platinum is going to kill me

Very pretty game with good music, but that’s it really. Underwhelming to say the least.

It may not be on the same level as the Resident Evil 2 Remake for me, but it’s sure as hell a massive step up from the Resident Evil 3 Remake, improving almost everything I had a problem with in the original with possibly the best gameplay in the series and somehow not having me bored after over 16 hours of gameplay.

Absolutely loved the start of the game but as it went on, it started to get more and more repetitive leading me to like it less and less. Still had fun by the end but I just wish there was more variety in the level design, just have some other colours in the game other than white and grey. That’s all I want.

Not nearly as bad as some people say, brilliant. Maybe the base game is a bit lacking but the legendary edition is fantastic with all the additional DLC. I can see why the end is underwhelming for some but it didn’t bother me much personally, at least with the extended DLC. The game is clearly rushed tho which is a real shame, I think with a year or more in the oven this could be on the same level as Mass Effect 2. Hopefully the new one is actually good too, I guess we’ll see but I doubt it.

Glad this finally came to the west after so many years. I loved it at the beginning and slowly got bored of it but then the story picked up again at the end. Loved seeing characters like Mine and Ryuji return. The combat is very fun but extremely unbalanced with some styles being OP and others being useless and doing no damage. The game is also very grindy, I think I had to grind more in this than in 7 which I did not expect going into it. Overall, a fun but flawed experience which can get boring at times due to the poor pacing, but is worth seeing it through the end.

Some constructive criticism I have for the devs for when they make Crash 5 is to have every level be the carnival level. I think i’d be a 10 if they did that.
