Such a wonderful blend of RPG and resource management elements and has one of the best "choice matters" sci-fi stories I've ever experienced. Combine those attributes with gorgeous audiovisual presentation and you have the best game I played from 2022.

It was a tough call between Pentiment and Citizen Sleeper for the #1 spot. This title shares all of Citizen Sleeper's positives and may even have a superior narrative, but doesn't share that title's level of engaging gameplay mechanics.

If you managed to look past all of the blinding hype that surrounded the release of this game, you'll still find one of the best 3D puzzle adventure games released in recent memory.
