It was a flash in the pan, until a major update comes out. I'll stick to playing with younger family members who love it. It's a great way to connect with them.

When EA(who murdered Maxis) dropped the ball with Simcity(2013) here comes no named studio Colossal Order coming in to save the genre. An excellent city building game, make by true fans and enthusiasts of both Simcity and the genre. On top of that the modding scene is as healthy and vibrant as it was on Simcity 4 and 2000. I don't know what else to say other than I really suck at building pretty highway junctions, but they work dammit!

You can make the boobs jiggle.

I perfected this game on steam.. I'm not proud of that.

It's the first Metal Slug and it shows. I played it a lot at my first base's BX in Florida. It has some issues with difficulty and lack of power ups that comes with playing the first of any series. Still worth a play for the historical value.

The guns are heavy and pack a punch. You kill nazis and eat dog food. What more do you need?

This was my introduction to the Metal Slug series way back when I was in the Air Force and this was on the Dormitory MVS. As with all the Metal Slug games it's a visual treat, some of the humor is outdated but it's not a negative in my opinion. Not as difficult as the other games but still a challenge.

This game ate so many quarters of mine back when it came out and was installed on the MVS in my dormitory. I remember loving the stupid story and just the sheer amount of eye candy. Picked it up on steam and while it's just a good. Not having to worry about not having enough quarters kinda took away from the tension of playing it.

A very different type of roguelite. Has a strong sci-fi action movie vibe. Robocop, Diehard and a bunch of others in the mix. Lots of replayability and an unforgiving difficulty curve. Plus the guns.. so many guns.. so many.. EVIL.. CURSED.. guns.
