2020

finally made it to the ending after picking it up again and it consuming me for the last 2/3 weeks. no words are needed at this point, mastapiece

bring on hades 2

still one of my favorite walking sims. lots of mystery, paranoia, impeccable vibes, atmosphere, and intriguing characters.

i always considered firewatch to be commentary on how expectations can make us feel so empty. sometimes the smaller things are the things that shatter us.

see you around, D

lame season, almost made me not wanna come back

not quite the masterpiece i was expecting. i don't think it's a very good survival horror, but as a story...oh boy.

as usual when a title is review bombed at launch it's issues get blown out of proportion. if you're nostalgic for the old days and don't care much about multiplayer, this is a more convenient way to experience it, even tho the price can be debatable.

i kinda like this game now. co-op is fun, some infuriating boss battles on veteran but overall just fun resident evil silliness. sheva is a cutie pie, best girl jill in her bad bitch era and excella walked so lady dimitrescu could run. good game

also albert wesker is in this

THQ delivered an intelligent reaimagining of a classic that's not ashamed of it's lovecraftian roots and understands what made it so groundbreaking at the time.
i do wish there was less focus on combat and more creative ways to defeat enemies like in the original, though. it's funny to see how cicles go and i guess it was always inevitable how this game would borrow heavy inspiration from the recent resident evil remakes. oh man, i really liked it!

wake up babe, for the first time since 1992 alone in the dark is good again

getting the S+ rank on professional wasn't easy man, even using a few bonus. there's a clear difficulty spike and a bigger focus on combat in this DLC, which makes it even more unique. don't know what to say about this game anymore. GOTY

the only reason to play this is if you're horny for jill's blonde ass... so, yeah.

this season started promisingly i guess but how tf did they fumble the cowboy bebop collab that badly

it's SO GOOD! easily my favorite 2d metroid since super

love you sammy

finally finished it. holy fucking shit this was..... NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. daniel mullins are you okay bro?????

really tried to love this game but it wouldn't let me. questionable design choices and a weird difficulty spike that comes outta nowhere aside, the change to first person brings a lot of problems. platforming can be irritating at times and the combat is... well, it exists.

thank god prime's metroidvania loop is still very satisfying and the atmosphere is incredible as it's always the case with metroid, especially the soundtrack this time goes really hard
