turns out me and bubsy have more in common than i thought

this game absolutely rips. definitely see myself doing another playthrough. zero complaints from me.

this game's style is so SICK. the music, sound effects, character select, all of it. it's perfect. i guess i prefer cvs2 since it's a bit more freeform and has a wider selection of characters, but that by no means makes this unworthy of your time.

definitely a part of the upper echelon within the genre. really cool game. make more beat em ups with guns

what else can even be said about this game. it's the perfect sandbox for a fighting game fan. you could play this game every day for a year and still end up encountering a matchup you've never seen. it's unpredictable, insane, and terrific in every way.

pretty chill game honestly. endgame bosses may have had me feeling a bit burnt out (hence why i took a month long break from it lol), but the journey is absolutely worth it.

how did i not hear about this game?? the character roster is insane lol. legitimately do not understand all the negativity surrounding it. it's not exactly MAINSTAGE EVO TOURNAMENT tier or anything, but it's super easy to get into and the majority of characters feel stupid busted, so it's a blast! plus quote from cave story is the best in the game and has an absolutely insane combo game.

i think the fact that this is the first narrative-driven game that i've been since november of last year sums up my opinion better than most things i can say about it, lol.
it's really tough at times, but i can safely say that i thoroughly enjoyed my time with chantelise. can't wait to dig into EasyGameStudio's other titles--and the other games localized by Carpe Fulgur! loved their work on this translation.

pretty nifty little portable fighter!! cute characters and simple movesets that make for a totally serviceable fighting experience on the go. gonna need a GuileWinQuote vid breaking this one down asap

if this game were at EVO, i'd be a millionaire

ridiculously good fighting game hindered solely by it's shitty netcode. if this had rollback, i'd absolutely be putting in daily practice sessions.

i SUCK at puyo puyo, but this game rules. thank u to the translators <3

it's pretty astonishing how much they got right from the very first title, as far as the music and enemy design go, as well as setting what would be the "vanilla" jrpg story.
however, be aware that they REALLY are not kidding when people say this game is almost all grinding. i don't mean this as inherently negative --i actually enjoyed grinding out some enemies before i went to bed each night, and there's not much more satisfying than the level up jingle.

for anyone wanting to play the first in the series, i HIGHLY recommend checking out the patch "that's exactly
the same, only all enemies drop 255 experience and large amounts of Gold upon their defeat. This way, you have the option of skipping the hours of grinding and just seeing all the original game has to offer."
which you can get here: https://www.romhacking.net/translations/5554/

i love these fellas
i remember seeing them for the first time in that sonic racing game on the wii lol.
fun game too, check it out on fightcade

(played for the bunker's FPGA-Tour)

why did they even continue making golf games after this. they achieved perfection in 1996, and yet golf games continued to be released. i've played 72 holes of golf in the past 12 hours and i still want to play more.
