cool game with a cool art style. if you've got half an hour to spare and like beat em ups, give it a try. it's on fightcade and there's a saturn version
two bonk games in a day....
tried to keep my expectations low, as it IS a remake of one of my favorite games ever. so what did i think?
i liked it! the art style is cute and goofy. love the little sound effects that show up on screen when you walk or hit an enemy. what i didn't love, though, is the bosses. one of my favorite things about the original game is how you can easily break some of the boss battles and (admittedly) make them a bit more doable than they would normally be...this version, for the most part, takes that away, which results in more than a couple frustrating boss fights.
HOWEVER, i still liked it. the ost is one of my favorites ever and i found myself humming along as i played for almost the entire game. if ya like bonk, i recommend giving it a look.

the u.s. government doesn't want you to know that super bonk 2 is a very fun time and a worthy sequel to the first (IMO).
