aigis is so pretty

The story is good although there are a lot of wuestions that are left up in the air like the evokers and how the kirijo group functions at all. Pretty fun gmeplay, i forgot how annoying person fusions were though, wish they would do an in game calculator as i have no idea how they expect anyone to make like messiah without one. Some social links were very good but some didnt quite hit, though i suppose i did rush thru the game a bit and at some point you stop absorbing all the teenage drama. twas a good game and worth the 24 dollars i think i paid for it on gmepass

I liked it i played it with my friends and we had fun

Very beautiful game, some puzzles were a bit ez, some of the final inception esque ones were a bit hard, but the rest of them absolutly nailed it. Story was possibly good when supplemented by youtube but there was enough there that i had my own little idea of what was going on. A short game but a banger, glad i played it all in one session because if i forgot any mechanics mid game i probably would have gotten majorly stuck (which i still did at the end oh well)

Really really good! Omits many of the annoying things I've heard about in other souls games, has an interesting story with good character moments even if ending 3 is poorly explained. At first the visceral violence turned me off, then i grew to relish it after tough fights, but now i hardly notice it at all, probably concerning.

Fun fights and more great art + music!

Combat sucked, every side story was just about kiryu getting scammed and refusing to pay people, story was very meh

2016

Nice vibes, shooting out of the water was fun the shark was cool, relaxing. Lore might be huge but I didn't figure it out, puzzles were weak.

Excellent narrative. Nails the last case, although sections are very long and it is a slog if you rush through it. Go to sleep come back tomorrow morning and relax while you play it (:

Cute game. I played it solo but with my mum on the couch offering me advice while i goosed around ( the optimal way to play). I thought some of the puzzles were poorly conveyed and the goose controls rather erratically. There is a bit of ai baiting which i get enough of in fire emblem lol. Its funny though and i really liked the ending. Maybe i just missed it but the wing flapping is only used like once? Anyway, a fun short game. I might give the bonus trials a go but the ones on a timer look a bit daunting.

I really liked the beginning. The aesthetic was great and the story setup really had me invested. When chapter 2 started and i realised i got to control two armies at the same time i was really excited. Unfortunately the two plots barely intersect at all and alm and celica both make dumb decisions. Anyway, it was hard to stay invested in the plot because the atrocious combat made me take almost 2 years to complete this 40 hour game. If this game didnt have turnwheel i probably woul have dropped it sooner. Awkening hard mode is less bs that this on normal mode. I never want to think about the gameplay side of this game ever again, but was this playtested? Can you even beat the game without genny spamming invoke to distract the hundreds of gargoyles you have to claw your way through each turn? And if alm happens to die, then you cant use your turnwheel which bit me in the ass more than a few times. I know it has a postgame dungeon but unless i go through psychosis/get shot in the head and have complete personality change, i will never play it. I wish they would do a second remake but ship of thesues tf out of everything except the characters and art. Also characters have the majority of their personality in their little combat animation but if you leave those on the game will actually take 10 billion hours to complete. Ok so i said i had roughly 40 hrs on my complete file but checking 3ds activity log i have 60. hooooly shit. I can see why back in the day only nerds played games because what sort of well adjusted person is enjoying themselves playing this on the nes. LIke sure other games were also shit at the time but you could still go walking or read a book or smth. LIke how did playing the "strategy " game fire emblem gaiden beat out literally any other activity that someone could have spent their time doing. At least 3 houses learned from it or smth

Very complicated experience with a game. I bought and started it on release night but only finished it the day before haloween. I started and finished persona 5 royal, 2 playthroughs of pikmin and yakuza 0 in the time while i technically had this game on the go. It's a good game outside of the start and a few great moments later on, i just didnt feel the insatiable drive to jump back in like i did with breath of the wild. Maybe its because i had less games to play then and was marginally less entrenched in the online gaming sphere, where after the initial hype, titles of video essays and analysis' consistantly talk about how "flawed" the game is. Obviously i didnt watch them to stay spoiler free but even seeing them kind of mentally conditions you to be more critical while you play. Anyway.
The game is all about freedom which is good but in many of the little world puzzles in the sky or underground (and fire temple) solving those puzzles in anything except the intended way, while possible, is extremely boring. I dont know if this is a hot take but i wish some of these places had more shrine like design with quick death pits so you dont have to go all the way back up to where you were, and unclimbable walls, so you dont spend 5 mins doing a boring climb that had a much cooler alternitive solution too if you had looked around harder.
Side adventure/ side quest split is cool; good to get an idea of which stuff has more impact on the world and game.
Combat could be better, i think we really needed another weapon type. The fuse peripherals make some encounters more fun but do feel a bit too situational a lot of the time. Armour upgrade system still sucks.
The engineering aspect is very cool, not as fiddly as you would expect.
Shrine quality starts very high and falls of a cliff the further away from hyrule field you get. Also too many rauru blessings, they had like 8 years. I think theyre should have been more progression for link, with more people recogniing him and stuff. Zelda twist was cool, loved that whole segment of watching the sword memory and then seeing her. Cool box art, i have a poster of it in my room. I wish they could use this link and zelda in a different setting, not just a fairly static hyrule. rediscovering old places was cool, better boss fights the depths suck ass

Had a phase of about 3 months where i got really into this game. It is packed with fun moments but the gameplay between those moments aint the best. I want the series on switch but i hope that they add way more things that you can do to build memorable relationships between miis even if it is still random and chaotic to a degree

So i bought yakuza 0 and it came with kiwami and kiwami 2 in the steam sales of 2023. It took me a while to start because my laptop coudn't run it, so for a while i just had the kamurocho in the 80s acheivement. The combat is a little confusing, and it wasnt until post kuze that i found out you could change combat styles off of rush and also heal mid fight. Anyway i slowly started to figure things out.
The plot is always very gripping and the way they intertwine over time is very cool. I thought that they would be completely sperate plots when the whole mr moneybags thing happened but the first real sign that things were getting real was when in the pan down on the hospital bed, the audience is shown he has a bat tattoo, and you have to remmber that makoto had said that the man who abducted her had a bat tattoo so i was thinking tachibana was a monster during all his cutscenes about how card his life is, but then he turned out to be a g. Some very cathartic story momets and it was a bit annoying how none of the good guys actually ever kill anyone but i suppose its a prequel and they have characters like that alive and involved later on?
Minigame variety is super cool, most of the gambling games are things ive never heard of but some of them are fun. darts is tricky, bowling is easy, dancing is difficult with controller. Normally i have a pretty good run of knocking out side content before i finish the game but there is just too much here so i beat the game first and then they included the an awesome explore afterward mode(premium adventure?) which is dope tbh more games need something like the clean distinction between that and a new game plus. probably wont start kiwami until next year. Also the ending credit thing kinda spoiled stuff? like it said nishiki might go power hungry after he was such a g in this game and it says that dojima dies ect ect. anyway very fun game, this is the third game i have played since starting and before completing tears of the kingdom (pikmin twice, persona 5 yakuza 0)
better fast travel would be good after you beat the game

Uhhhh why is this game the goat though??? They cooked
