Such a charming little game!

I've enjoyed unraveling the mysteries of Fuji no Hana and its inhabitants and you can tell this game was Boku no Natsuyasumi's designer doing, Kai Ayabe.

The care they've pour into shaping the town is beautiful for such a short game. You can almost feel like our protagonist, a newcomer into the town with everything to discover, (almost) nothing to fear and building new friendships along the way.

The plot about family, friendship and childhood. We tend to fixate on epic tales, great action and dramatic events unfolding in video games, but this is quite the opposite. And with just the right amount of "supernatural" things going on masked with the imagination of child playing around. Honestly, I would be like them if I were to live in the same town as my fav show gets recorded!

And the classic sound of summer and cicadas, the warning sound of a train passing by or just the wind gently shaking nature.

It just radiates calm.

This is my first hackrom and it's amazing the level of content, plot and gameplay that can be achieved by fans.

I've been immersed in this world for quite a few months, as I've played it from times to times with my Miyoo Mini Plus and recovering the feeling of play a Pokemon game in a small handheld while playing something new is priceless.

The plot is interesting, it has even a side quest system with great tracking and it's PACKED with content and variety. If you're invested in everything it offers you, you can play for HUNDREDS of hours just catching every Pokemon, doing the side quest, the Frontier, and so on. It's just almost everything Pokemon has to offer in just a ROM.

Can't recommend enough to, at least, give it a try if you're not happy about the latest Pokemon games but doesn't want to give up on the franchise. Even tho it's not "official" content, it sure feels like it is.

My expectations were low, but holy f***.

If I didn't like Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I liked the DLC even less.

Of 15 hours played, 10 have been doing sidequests that do not add anything to the story beyond knowing a little more about the environment of Torna and its inhabitants, but they do not enrich the story or cause a subsequent impact on it. Missions like going to collect, kill x beast or simply be an errand boy are not of a sufficient level to justify the little main content that awaits behind them.

Knowing the story of Lora and Addam is fine, but there have really been few significant scenes outside of the ending that have built their legend. 99% of Addam's exploits have happened (or will happen) outside the DLC framework, as well as those of Lora and Jin, so the opportunity to use the Prestige system to learn more about their legacy has been squandered.

Of the few right decisions they made was to get rid of the Blades gacha that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 already brought with it, but I think this very interesting space of story and good characters has been kinda wasted.

I'll never touch Xenoblade Chronicles 2 again if I can and I'm thankful for what we got in Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 3.
