The good:
- Really unique and fun dungeons (especially the last few)
- Cool story
- The items are fun and can be used in each area instead of just being one and done
- Returning to previous areas is interesting (the first time)
The eh:
- The world feels less "lived in" with no overworld or towns
- Each area is designed like a dungeon, which is fun but can be overwhelming
- The sky is boring
- Backtracking gets old by the end

Mixed feelings with this one! Most of it was honestly a slog for me. The Disney worlds are either uninteresting rehashes of their movies or just boring.
As for the gameplay, it's definitely better than BBS and DDD, but feels too convoluted. There are too many random mini games and gameplay styles. The difficulty isn't very balanced either. Critical is far too punishing in some areas, but certain moves make some battles a breeze. The humanoid boss battles were probably the funnest to fight.
A few of the worlds are fun to explore. It's nice having actual NPCs for once! And the game definitely looks beautiful.
Last, the story... basically nothing happens until the end. The Disney worlds feel like 100% filler and the story in between them is so convoluted I gave up trying to follow it.
So yeah, like I said, mixed feelings! But overall, it was fun.

Played on PS4. The combat system is broken and repeating the story three times got really old and ruined any sense of progression by the end. It just turned into grinding commands for Curagas and Thunder Surges.
The story was okay but didn't make a whole lot of sense. I would have loved to see the main characters actually spend more time with each other.
