One of the most heart-wrenching depictions of grief I've ever seen in a video game, which is impressive considering that they're all robots.

Not as in-depth as it could be. It felt promising for the first few hours while the game is gradually introducing its mechanics, but it eventually becomes clear that all you'll be doing is adding new buildings when it tells you to, and hiring new staff when it tells you to.

None of the clever, strategic management I would expect of a game like this is required of you, nor is it possible. For example, once your campus gets large enough, there will be students complaining about having to travel long distances between classes. But, while you can view timetables, you can't change them, so you can't reschedule classes to fix the problem. And while the game will yell at you about it, there aren't really any consequences for ignoring it.

There is fun to be had here if you meet the game where it is. My issue is just that I wanted a campus management sim, but got the Sims build mode with a fun gimmick.

If you're like me and have somehow avoided learning a single thing about Terraria until now, keep in mind that it's borderline unplayable without a dozen fan wiki tabs open in the background, Stardew Valley-style. This game is in desperate need of tooltips. That said, I did clock several hundred hours in Stardew so clearly that doesn't ruin the experience for me (even if it does undercut the joy of discovery a little bit).

good on pc but whenever I play on ps4 for more than 15 minutes i start feeling nauseous

It's too unresponsive to really work as a 'game,' but it's an amazingly intuitive way to learn some new songs if you just play along with your guitar disconnected.

I knew I was in for a treat when I gave this game a custom installation path and it went ahead and saved to the default location anyway. TS4 is somehow a complete mess despite being almost entirely bereft of content. I'm glad EA has finally admitted that it's nothing more than a vehicle for overpriced DLCs by making it free-to-play, but I wish they'd done that before I dropped 50 bucks on it.

It at least gets points for its mod support. I love the sims series but this game would be nothing without its modding community.

Games like this often have a near-intolerable learning curve, but this game is structured in such a way that you can understand it without even needing a tutorial (which I greatly appreciated). Still, while I think it's a fun game, the outcome of each run often comes down to luck rather than skill in a way that makes victories feel hollow and losses feel extra frustrating.

I'm a lesbian so idk why i felt compelled to play this. I just found it in my steam library after years and apparently i went out of my way to earn every steam achievement, so I guess that's a mark in its favour?

my all-time favourite interpretation of the joker is in a telltale game and idk how to feel about that

My parents knew this was one of my favourite games and man I know they tried their hardest, but I don't think I'll ever forget how it felt to unwrap the Katy Perry expansion pack on my 13th birthday

I'll admit I had pretty low expectations judging by how the fandom conducted itself in this game's heyday, but I was pleasantly surprised. Adorable little game with a story that actually had me crying at points. If it's possible for you, this game is definitely best experienced completely blind (and that includes advice about moral choices!).

Very fun game but whenever they start talking about the stormcloaks or the divines or whatever my brain switches off lol i wanted to get into the story but i just could NOT force myself to pay attention

The story's a little meh but the game more than makes up for it with an immersive world and an extremely lovable cast of characters. I still imagine Hank trying claim half a dozen android prostitutes as a work expense when I need a good laugh.

The endings are stupid and the beginning feels a bit tactless. The actual meat of the game is great, though.

Don't get me wrong I love this game but if I have to spend another second doing random encounters in Tartarus I'm gonna throw up
