They did a good job with the remake! Ridiculous amount of QoL stuff I never knew I wanted + cool 3d cutscenes new soundtrack... It really is a 'refreshing take on an old classic" :)

this game totally rules!!!!!!! super easy to pick up hard to master type beat, and a great ost - but the card booster pack rng sucks. Not worth trying to go for a very particular deck build if you aren't abusing save states for pulls, otherwise farming specific cards blows chunks and takes forev, it's also pretty short you can sweep all of the gym battles in a couple hours with a half-decent deck

beat the whole thing co-op, game is a bit too long for what it is but was fun to blast thru - probably would not play again
started playing this after Riven blew my fuckin mind dude - playing this game feels like discovering the actual D'ni civilization cuz all the players are so dedicated and immersed in Myst lore they literally speak the language - there are even community events where they hold language classes.
Loved my time playing through the ages in the base game - but what also blew my mind is that this game is STILL getting updates with fan written ages regularly, and they're pretty cool levels too, definitely recommend checking it out if you love the lore
