I don't know why they thought they needed Mobile Suits locked behind grinding/paywalls in order to fund this game. I'd imagine just getting people to want to buy more plastic models would be enough (it worked on me).

Take cover. Take aim. Take a massive steaming dump.

I told you I didn't need a Letterboxd account.

Install the Northstar client. Pass it on.

The most tolerable battle royale game. But that doesn't amount to much.

I dunno, just kinda not feeling this gameplay loop.

A very good port of a very good game. Worthwhile to check out if you happen to like both Metroid Prime and Doom/Duke and ever wondered "hey what if these two fused together".

Why is this in my Steam library? Leaving this game behind like Randy Pitchford left his USB stick at Medieval Times.

I would have laughed at you if you told me a year ago that MercurySteam was going to be making the best 2D Metroid game.

I would have thought that by 1995 people have gotten a bit tired of NES-tier troll level designs with leaps of faith and all, but apparently it sold well enough to warrant sequels. I mean, thank god it got sequels, because they're generally all around way better than this one.

A surprisingly well aged 3D platformer.

My spoiler free thoughts: Toby's still doin good. Characters are as endearing as ever, OST's good, plenty of unique puzzles and gimmicks and battles, and still leaving us with a story that has plenty to talk and speculate about. Bless this dude for giving us another chapter for free.

I want my $40 back, Bobby Kotick.

Another boring roguelike in an oversaturated market of boring roguelikes.
