Combat with Ratchet and Rivet is excellent and intense in some parts, the easy difficulty can sometimes take the immersion away when you realise you are mashing the right trigger. The 2 puzzle parts with clank and the little spider bot really let the game down and make me dread the sight of them whenever they are coming up. The story was not really immersive I paid enough attention to understand what was going on and the key themes the game tries to portray but ultimately the big dimensions gimmick was not used to its full potential. The combat is the only thing saving this game and the dual sense on the ps5 controller is really used to its full potential.

short and sweet. This game could have easily been dlc for the first, but seems as though they wanted a big release for the ps5. The 100% completion takes barely any time at all which is the only con i can give this game, as well as the ridiculously easy difficulty. The gameplay as a whole is brilliant miles is such a loveable character and seeing him develop in this universe has been great for everyone to see, even if as soon as he gets his venom powers hes stronger than peter anyway. The combat is silky smooth and the story leaves a small impression but nothing to write home about. Overall this game is a lot of fun for a short amount of time and is an easy pick up and play for anyone with a ps5.
