2019 Interactive Fiction Top 50(+) Poll

been wanting to get deeper into IF and idk how much stock i should put into this but it seems like as good a place as any to start

the most recent iteration of a quadrennial poll conducted by Victor Gijsbers. not using the ranked list display due to numerous ties, including large tie for 46th place (thus, why there are 68 games in this list rather than 50)

links to info/full results (as well as for the 2011 and 2015 iterations) here: http://www.ifwiki.org/index.php/Interactive_Fiction_Top_50

Bee

23rd place (7 votes)

separate note: Emily Short's "Bee" was originally designed for Varytale, a now-defunct platform for choice-based IF that functioned a bit like Fallen London. A version that was ported to another system called Dendry can be played at http://dendry.github.io/bee/ but seeing as this port was never much of an official release, best to go in knowing there may be bugs.
