played this after seeing the amazing trailer for Alan Wake 2. very excited to see where the team is at 13 years later.

I never knew in a million years that I would have so much fun building bridges, leaving ladders behind for others, and rocking a baby back in forth... Kojima, you really stun me.

while I think this remake was executed almost perfectly - I kept feeling disconnected to the game after all this time. there's something so special about the original and while the spirit was alive and maybe even refueled here, I still felt at times that the game was dragging for me personally.

I do hope for some Ada DLC and maybe even for Capcom to keep in the back of their minds a video game in the future that plays similar to Ashley's short segment.
