I've gotten close to the first dungeon, but learned fairly quickly that I am probably to underpowered to actually complete it. Loving the art in this game, which will probably push me forward, otherwise it is very grindy. Thankfully there is a quicksave feature on mobile.

I've quickly learned that there is fact very little to do but grind in this game. It's a cool concept that you start in a central hub and move out from there. Makes getting around simple. But this feels more like a mini-JRPG than an actual JRPG. But this came out before Final Fantasy so that makes sense.

Every level starts with this tension of a horror game, but as soon as the shooting starts your adrenaline kicks into high gear and it feels like a high octane action game. Love it.

There comes a time when you have to admit to yourself that you aren't going to pull your WiiU out to complete this game. I've had lots of fun with the game, but having to find batteries for a wii remote and setup the sensor bar is just not worth my time.

I thought I would give the mobile version a try, as I have nothing better to do while at work. So far the controls work fairly well for mobile, but the ads make the game such a nuisance to play. In order to save you need to watch an ad..

Having nothing to play on my Switch I decided to grab this. I've always enjoyed the older JRPGs for nothing more than they are mindless. I can just sit in bed and mash the A button as battles begin. So far I'm just running around the overworld grinding until I get to an area and die.

The ridiculousness keeps getting ramped up after every level. I love it. Doom guy doesn't care about anything. He just wants to kill demons.

Its amazing what the freedom of movement by your preferred control method can do for the enjoyment of a game. I’ve completed all the missions up to the point where I left off on Xbox and the game feels completely different. Its a high octane rush of violence with a keyboard and mouse vs the much slower approach I had to take with a controller due to not be as comfortable with the setup.

I'm at the point where I am free to explore before the final boss. I think I'll wander back to some of the early parts of the game just to see what I may have missed and get fully upgraded.

The mountain door puzzle will also be a fun scavenger hunt.

I got to all the Hero's Grave points and restored my body but now I am more enthralled with this Holy Cross puzzle than the final boss.

Having restarted the game on PC, I find it considerably more enjoyable. I don't feel handicapped like I do on a controller, and I can get behind the mindset of the Doom Guy just wanting to kill demons. Having a much better time with it.

So I’ve gotten three of the Hero’s Graves completed. The Swamp, The East Forest, and Eastern Vault. Still not sure how to get past the black stuff in the Libarary.

I also have to figure out this Hoky Cross business, and then there is another save file that just randomly appeared???

I finally got through the boss rush section. I'm never a fan of these sections as its fighting old enemies, and I feel like it is more of a punishment than a treat. Getting to move on from enemies, only to have them resurface in mass quantity sucks.

I now have the final power up and get finally grab all those upgrades that were out of reach earlier. Not to mention all the pages that I saw chilling on floating islands.

Then.. the final boss??
