Gorgeous artstyle accompanied by an amazing ost. The interconnected world really took me by surprise and the level design were mostly great if not for some awkward platforming. The combat however isn’t so great with upgrades barely impacting the gameplay apart from the dodge thrust. This problem is made worse by the contact damage which constantly knocks you back and interrupt your attacks. Apart from that I really enjoyed this game and its beautiful pixel art.

I don’t care what people say I loved the batmobile and the story even though I predicted the twist from the start. The lack of boss fights was disappointing (especially that one tank fight with that mercenary) however the gameplay makes up for it with a variety of gadgets to make every stealth section my personal sandbox. Also locking the true ending behind riddler trophies is ridiculous and i’m not proud to say i’ve spent hours collecting them. Rest in peace Kevin Conroy.

Basically a Black Flag DLC. Real shame that the air rifle was never brought back in the future games though.
