this game doesn't make any fucking sense until it does, it's a good time.

2014

Really cool game conceptually and I really liked where it was going but the ending going to the exact place i thought it would with no deviation kinda soured my experience. It's a very personal issue though, it might not even bother you.

anyway don't play joyful that game's hot garbage. watch a youtube video or play one of the 10 quintillion fangames this game has, i bet they're good.

i'm fucking begging you please dont play this game

i hate nintendo so fucking much holy shit

mmbn2 sands edges that were sharp in its predecessor and adds some flavor with the style change system and an elemental weakness system. i got 3 different versions of the stupid fuckin shield style with different elements so it definitely needed tweaking on how it assigns it to you and the fact that you can only hold 2 is silly but i enjoyed stunning enemies with electric and speed deleting navi's with weaknesses so it wasn't all bad. i was almost under the belief that this is where these games got good and then the tedious ass fetch quests of the second half of the game popped in and ruined that. really it's a coinflip which one you'll prefer between 1 and 2 but i personally think 1 being short and sweet overpowers the cons of it being mechanically shallow in this comparison.

KH1 of megaman. A solid baseline of the gameplay keeps the meandering of the plot and poor map design afloat but even the gameplay is still a little confused and needed some sanding.

If you bought the entire legacy collection and are on the fence about playing it I'd say it's worth the 15 or so hours it'd take to rush through it, especially if you are more used early franchise "jank" or are nostalgic for these games. If you're neither you might wanna start with Battle Network 3.

Fear & Hunger in its entirety is a mostly bitter experience that is completely unforgettable. One of my favorite games of all time.
