I only played 8 Nancy Drews this year which sounds like a lot but I played like 20 in 2021. Even so the competition was stiff and although there are some classics like shadow at the water’s edge and warnings at waverly academy, it really can’t be anything but Alibi here, not only a fun and subversive scenario for Nancy Drew from a lot of angles (Nancy drew with no Nancy, Nancy Drew in her own town instead of abroad, what if being an intrepid teen detective sucks actually) but also has the funniest mean girl character in the series, who wisely has literally nothing to do with any of the crimes in the game. Just here to be a bitch. Da best
