not my kind of game... i played mafia a long time ago and GTA and those were fun. not sure how this formula is different here but i didnt care much for this game. also the fist fights were cool in the beginning and got boring later.

long game. Overall a fun time thought hard to follow story at times. some fights were a challenge for me because i suck at these sorts of games. but i got through. :)

loved the game. story is a little weak but all the characters and weapons and general mayhem is fun.

Completion: 100%

Excellent game, fun music, fun weapons, fun levels. Quirky humor. Super creative. I don't know i have nothing bad to say about this game apart from rivet and ratchet mostly play the same.

My intro into this franchise after which i played a few more!

It has hints of being a good story and i tried to stick with it AS long as i could because every review said story was so good. But the very very boring controller inputs that are slow and very boring missions in between the story beats really made it so hard to keep going. The environment sound in this was soo horrible that i turned it off. the animation is clunky. maybe if i was. HUGE fan of star trek i could over look this but i just like star trek.

Tell tale games are some of my most fav games and when they have the formula perfect like with tales from borderlands or walking dead series, why can't they follow that?

boring and not going to play it again. i can't help but feel i wasted 5h on this waiting for the payoff. if you arent into it within the first 1hour just quit.

4.3/5

Overall better than its predecessors. I really enjoyed the game and story. Its pretty epic though at times i couldn't follow why certain things were happening. It may be that i dont know the venom lore as much as other comic book fans. Venom was doing some things i didn't even think were possible. Overall venom was a great Villan and he delivered. The hunter was a dumb villan, i think his powers are explaiend maybe in 1 line in the whole game. I had to look it up to know why he was so powerful.

I feel like some villians show up especially at the beginning of the game and i HONESTLY completely forgot what happened to them because they never appear after or are tied to venmon story line. Once the venom story kicks into gear everything takes a back seat including previous enemies you fought.

definitely worth playing! Not sure if i will 100% it though. Too many other games to play and too little time.

Story mode is nice. But I was never good at these games and can’t do all the moves so after a while it was time to move on. I think for fight game enthusiasts they will like it.

Apparently you have to get to Mexico before it doesn’t feel like a game of errands. Unfortunately I don’t have patience to wait that long. 2 hours in I am still running errands. It shows allot of promise. Wish they got started with the real story quickly.

Apart from the nostalgia of playing it as a kid and trying sonic a number of times now as an adults. It’s just not a game for me. I much prefer the Mario formula.

The game is much like botw and I already started like the new abilities and changes! I was never a huge botw fan and I borrowed this game from my friend. He needed it back and likely I may visit it again. I am positive about it’s potential. The world is as beautiful as ever.

I am not a huge harry potter fan nor do i hate it. I didn't really grow up with it. My wife and son love harry potter and they would probably give this game a 5/5 stars. Overall the game is vast, fun, and they really make you feel like you are part of this world. The world design is breathtaking. The game play is fun and feels very much like every open world adventure game out there. But its still fun don't get me wrong.

- Story is cliche and hard to care for. Really just seems like they put in a story to put in a story... Your generic good guy bad guy story.
- Main story is gated by levels which forces you to go out and explore. I guess it wasnt so bad because the world is pretty impressive
- Flying on your broom, casting spells and combat was fun! I liked trying out different spell combos to see what i could achieve.
- The world has sooo much to do and they really fleshed out the harry potter world. I feel like this is the closest thing to feeling like you are IN the world apart from reading the books with vivid imagination.
- There is a ton of shit to do in this game which if you are into harry potter you may like to do such a collecting creatures pokemon style. I didnt care for this.

Overall i would say play it and experience the main story even if you arent a fan. If you are a fan you will probably love this game alot. I would like to eventually platinum this game so i can explore the world some more!

As a HUGE gow fan, i was disappointed in 2018 GOW, and also this one pretty much follows the same formula. They did change a few thing is had criticism about but not enough to make this game that much better than the 2018 one. I guess i am just looking for creative games that show me something new, either an emotional connection or gameplay.

- Breath taking graphics as usual
- Story also as convoluted as before if not more. Story is told through tapestry, visions, paintings, hard to really care or follow
- They finally toned down the near absuive language of Kratos to his son. He now seems very soft compared to what he use to be.
- Nothing memorable about the story but overall the boss fights were much better and enjoyable than previous game.
- They turn fast travel on and off with weird reasons. was annoying.

GOW3 is probably one of my all time favorite games. and now i am here with a hot take on GOW 2018.

Apart from Kratos and some fights this game reminds me almost nothing about what I loved or associated with a GOW(3) game. I played every GOW game and no i am not sick of the formula. Maybe thats why i was ok with this game. Those games made feel bad ass and gritty. Story was simple, John Wick style, the combat was bad ass.

This GOW had no large fights apart from 1 or 2. I mean if they did GOW3 on ps3 what could they have done on ps 4!?!? Where is something that resembles the opening scenes and fights of gow3? Throughout the whole game i was hoping it would remind me of gow1-3.

Some thoughts:
- Amazing, breath taking graphics
- Kratos was always mean to his son and borderline abusive with his language. Hard to hear.
- Story was confusing and all over the place
- Linear mixed with semi open world was weird.
- No real epic feel apart from how large the world was
- Combat was just like every other action adventure game. Plus axe vs blades of chaos .... seriously BOC any day. I guess it was refreshing to use an axe for the first hour.

So yes it was disappointing and somewhat boring game. I finished it because I am a huge GOW fan. The best part of the game is the first few hours and then its all down hill.

This game is better than the 1st game but everything about this game is medicore after the first couple hours. It has the same problems as its predecessor, so though its more fun and engaging with the sparks system. Its super repetitive and boring. The walk-around the overworld was too convoluted and boring. Its clear to see how much time they spent on overworld and alot of content there, but it also got in the way of getting to your destinations of the main quest. I just want to do the main quest not run into all these side quests.

The game also gets easier once you get a nice build going. Overall its repetitive and not challenging. So it ends up being boring. Its also missing the charm of 1st party titles thought it has the look.

If you enjoyed the 1st one you will like this more and probably worth a play. If you thought the first one was bad/ok this wont change your mind.

I am a huge BioWare fan and they made me love rpgs as my favorite genre thanks to baldurs gate, kotor, and more. With that said this game was just good. It was missing that magic sauce in BioWare games that makes it addictive. Throughout the game I kept wondering if I should replay kotor instead of this. However just starting me2, I am feeling my investment is paying off. That game is really gelling with me! Anyway this is a me1 review.

- The world building is great! They are really going for something big here. Unfortunately we don’t learn enough lore about the world, beyond main quest related lore, to make it engaging even with some side quests I tried.
- main story has some interesting Sci fi elements which kept me going. It’s a pretty short game.
- companions backstory was lack luster. This is often a standout in BioWare games. Companion interaction and squabble was also missing.
- the combat was fine. I just shot everything and rarely used any powers. BioWare games often force you to use your other powers against bosses and play with your abilities.
- side quests were run of the mill and did not grip me
- no real gear juggle or hunting. Just go for drop with highest numbers and SMG were always most powerful. Rest of weapons I tried to use them like a shotty in close combat. SMG was still better.
- lots of mechanics in game aren’t explained.

Overall play it and the payoff is probably in a future game than this. I think they used this as a learning testing game. It reminds of how drake series the 1st was fine but the pay off was starting drake 2.
