Bio
I enjoy games because yes
extremely biased and can't determine favorites. Making an effort to communicate my thoughts effectively so don't expect the most cohesive reviews. Depending on the game I could give it a 3.5 and still love it but I'll still have gripes with it 4 and above are definite loves tho. I'm active on insta if you wanted to reach me.

If there was a definition of average for games it would be this. Through my friend's recommendation of checking this out its nothing to write home about. The combat is nothing you haven't did already and the only thing to separate it is the climbing and moving of platforms for you to jump on with the rare puzzle. So it can get old. The music ain't my cup of tea. The 360/PS3 look of this game allows it to hold up well with the graphics. The only other redeeming part of this game would be the story but since the audio mixing on both the PS3 and PC version I tried the cutscenes were literally impossible to hear with no subtitles might I add. So I really got half of the experience of the game although didn't seem like I was missing much.

Started wit the notion of finishing every Vanillaware game I can get my hands on but I can't completely get behind the gameplay. I can do strategy but this time not so much. As usual the art is literally outstanding and the monster designs are amazing like the chimera made me think what the living fuck is that. I really do wanna earn the rest of the art that is in this game but for now Ima live this game alone.
Note to self: Consider not playing on hard?

A cute and charming game. Some of the music isn't my style but it wasn't important once I was intrigued in the characters stories. A bit short for my liking.
Since I've played Va-11 Hall-A I've learned that I desire more games in this style of managing a shop and learning about the characters that frequent it. Allowing me to soak up the world and their story through them. Besides Va-11, Coffee Talk 2, and the upcoming Tavern Talk. I don't know any games like them and yet I love them so.
