I so wanted to love this game, and did love the visual style, but the puzzles are painfully easy. There is a constant weight of lost potential as each level returns to the same kinds of choices instead of ever finding new ways to utilize the space and shapes beyond the initial pitch of the game.

ORAS are among my favorite pokemon games EVER. Dexnav is the best tool in any game, period, and I wish it would stick around forever. Delta Episode leans hard into the scifi underpinnings that have been implied by Pokemon since gen 1 to epic effect. Overworld flying + randomized islands made for probably my favorite postgame of the series.

I think I waited too long to play this because it had been so built up and then the game itself was......well, not much. Atmospheric is about the best I can give it? Thanks for doing a lot for a genre I generally enjoy but this one was not it
