the creators of this game thought that a good way to return to the simplistic yet charming style of Mirror's Edge was to turn it into a pseudo-open world with an expansion to combat mechanics (while relegating parkour mechanics to an uninteresting skill tree) and milking those few things for all they have while still only being roughly as long as the first game, and finally throwing out any semblance of story and worldbuilding by making the world itself "more futuristic" while also making Faith younger. and i think they were pretty wrong for all of these choices.

a great game with great, intriguing characters with their own unique playstyles based off the game's genuinely really fun command system. terra is also there. he's okay

"crafted by minds behind the iconic Tales of Vesperia" was a fucking warning

genuinely fun game that kept me obsessed for a long time, but my issues with fromsofts difficulty pacing, confusing level layouts, and elden ring's unique issue of "needing to level up HP 50 times just so you can get hit twice" have all left me with that familiar sense of exhaustion i tend to get whenever these games just prove too much for me. if it's the wrong opinion to say "i would like an easy mode for this game", then i can't say i'm interested in the right one.

In the end, you have to choose whether you’re going to live as a soldier, or just another man with a gun.

I understand a character just through her movement.

I think Faith & Celeste should kiss.
