Fantastic throwback to FMV games of the 90s. First-person sections are much better with the modernised controls. Aesthetically authentic but cutscene feel way more polished than the older games. If you liked the other games I'd highly recommend this one.

Peak FMV cheese. The controls have aged very poorly, but they sure do work. Some of the puzzles are a bit obtuse. I recommend having a walkthrough at the ready in case you're lost about what to do. The presentation in the FMV cutscenes is on-point and all the actors to a good job with what they're given. If you're into games from this era this is one of the best ones to play.

Don't really know what to say, it's Call of Duty. A bit lacking in content this close to release. Multiplayer maps are alright, I suppose. Guns feel like they usually do. Co-op was pretty fun when I played it. Campaign, from what I've seen, seems like what you'd expect after MW2019. If you don't like CoD, don't get it.

This is just Counter-Strike for zoomers, and as such is pretty fun. Don't really like how floaty the movement feels at times, but that's probably only because it's not in the Source engine and I'm not used to it. If you like CS you'll probably like this and vice-versa.

The first I played in the series and thus my favourite. A lot of nostalgia here. The music and sound effects bring me way back to when I was like 10. Shows it's age a little bit in gameplay but it's still a whole lot of fun to drive around and crash into people.

Game's pretty fun when you only play it once a year for a week. Doesn't really have that much to do and a lot of what's here is fairly cryptic. This is a wiki-lookup game, with or without mods. If you're the kind of person who likes building Lego you'll get a lot out of it, but it might be a bit dull if you're looking to explore the world.

I have a really hard time with co-op games that use procedural generation, but this one's really good. I especially like the presentation, the game's aesthetics are super appealing. Played a bunch with a few friends, super fun. Wouldn't play by myself, though.

Pretty alright. VERY clunky, doesn't feel very responsive. Cool if you're already into the manga and/or anime, but I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone that's just into fighting games. I prefer the old arcade game.

I only use this to play Magic: the Gathering, but it works really well for anything. If you have friends and you can't get together in real life to play board games, this is a really good second best option.

One of the best games I've never finished. Have to get back to this one at some point, but playing the first act again is a tough sell with how long it is.

Very fun! Hard to get working on modern systems, however. If you want to play the card game in an RPG environment this is the absolute best you're going to get. Depending on your perspective the shallow, very early stages card pool either aged like milk or like wine.

Probably would've been the best way to play Quake III CPMA if anyone else played it. No singleplayer content makes this one a hard recommend, but if you and a friend pick this up you'll have a good time. Has a tutorial to keep you up with most of the mechanics if you're unfamiliar with the genre.

While not as influetial as the first game this one's still very fun to play. A bit frustrating to find where you're supposed to go at times but that's most of these older shooters. Weapons feel pretty good outside of the starting pistol. Visuals haven't aged very well, but I like the music.

Great with friends. Not very many levels to play but most of them are hard enough that the challenge of beating them will keep you going. Way more punishing than the sequel. Levelling up for harder difficulties are a bit of a pain due to the lack of variety, though.

Liked it well enough. Weapons felt really good and the visuals hold up okay. Did start feeling like a slog towards the middle/end part of the game. I recommend playing the first couple of hours and then sticking with it if you liked it. Just be ready that the game does stretch itself somewhat.
