One of my favorite games I played in 2020. If you love 90's anime. Then this is something that might be your alley. Great graphics that's incredibly immersive making it feel like an actual playable anime. Very charming and easily likable cast of characters that get proper screen time to flushed out. Great OST. The tactical game play is just fun. And the gameplay loop is pretty similar to a modern Persona game. And what makes this game so impressive and goes to show how ahead of it's time it is, is that this was done back in 1996. Sakura Wars is a great and endearing game. And also a very short game so I urge anyone to it a chance. The game deserved more love

The game that set the foundation for modern MegaTen game play. And it was a great game for it's time. However it was quickly out done with every subsequent PS2 and and 3DS MegaTen game that came out afterwords. Making it not as enjoyable as the rest.

The first truly amazing mainline game. Having one of the best plot, cast, and dungeons in the series.

Hand's down the best game in the franchise. And one of my favorite JRPGs. Featuring streamlined super polished game play. It's the MegaTen formula perfected. Making one of the most fun games to play and replay in the series.

The follow up to SMT4. Taking place in the same universe. More SMT4 you say? That's awesome! This game is tied as my favorite in the series. The game play even more improved from SMT4 making it easily some of the best in the series. A common criticism with the game is the plot as it takes inspiration from the Persona series to widen it's appeal. But I dunno I rather enjoyed the cast. And I much prefer this direction over earlier titles. But just me. That aside the game play is still amazing like SMT4. It's one of those games that I just find ridiculously fun to play and replay.

Only reason I played this game was because it was bundled with my PS4. It wasn't anything special or speculator. But I'm also not much of a Batman fan. It's an alright game average at best.

An multi flavored ice cream cone of video games. Going from platformer, to survival horror, to first person shooter, and even throwing in a racing segment in there too. That along with hilarious story makes it one of the most unique and enjoyable games I ever played.

A game I see as criminally underrated. This probably my favorite Danganronpa game to be honest. I love combination of dark yet trashy plot. The combination of RE4 meets anime is also something you don't see very often. And the game made Toko easily one my favorite characters in the series. I just had a blast playing it.

What is the first JRPG I played as a small child. Making it have a special place in my heart. I see this as the best Paper Mario game til this day. Perfect pacing and length making the game more fun and easy to replay unlike later entries.

This is the best Mario Kart game simply because they finished battle mode. That and the fact there are 48 race tracks to choose from makes this game full like a complete package. You have tons of variety and options. Making feel like the perfect and quite simply one of the best multiplayer experiences you can ever have

My favorite Mario/game of all time. There just something I find magical about this game that I feel later 3D games just failed to recreate. Fantastic controls, OST, and level design. And while the game definitely shows its age in some places particularly in the graphics and camera. I still see it as a masterpiece full stop.

I may not love Chrono Trigger but I do like Chrono Cross. It's not a perfect game by any means but the OST is lovely. The graphics are very impressive for the system and the battle system is so amazing that I'm disappointed that I can't think of a game that has one similar to it. The story and exploration can feel a bit convoluted at times so it does drag down the game. But unlike Chrono Trigger at least the game is mostly fun to play.

I thought I'd give this game a chance since I been on a Fire Emblem binge lately. Maybe it's because I'm not typically a mobile gamer but this game is pretty bad. I finished up to the first book before I just had to quit due to boredom. It's a caricature of a Fire Emblem game. And I wouldn't recommend it.

Fate/Stay Night is stupid in so many ways. But I can't help but also love it from the characters, there relationships and the lore. It's a fun. Also it has my favorite kinda fantasy. Modern day fantasy.

This game is pretty underrated and has no reviews on this site. Which is a shame cause I think it's worth checking out. So I guess I'll be the first.

I found it to be a pleasant surprised. As someone whose inexperienced with RTS, Pikmin aside I liked it more than thought I would. In some ways I like more than other vanillaware titles such as Odin Sphere and Muramasa. I think story the is better. I like characters better. The art is really nice but that's expected for vanillaware. Story it's basically about girl Lillet whose training to be witch and learning how to control the Grimoire. She goes to a school were you got teachers like half demon and a Lion man. Early on she discovers she in a time loop caused by the philosopher stone so naturally the plot is about her trying to escape it. And I find that really neat. Music was also nice even though the soundtrack is very small. I also really liked the voice acting with Wendlee Lee specifically it was nice hearing in a main role and I like Litllet she was cute. What I like about the voice acting especially in comparison to Muramasa and Odin Sphere is that Grim Grimoire for goes the theatrical style of voice acting from those games instead having a more natural form a speech. Which in my opinion makes this dub really great and better than those other games. Gameplay wise I honestly don't even mind the RTS gameplay. I wasn't sure about it at first. And I'm not very good at it. But I managed by. And it could be satisfying at times. I'm unsure how this game compares to other RTS games but I thought was good. The wikipedia page says the game took inspiration from Harry Potter for the plot and Star Craft for the gameplay and yeah that sounds about right. If that sounds interesting to you then I'd say check it out. Overall I found the game to be a pleasant experience. I was never to frustrated. And the game wasn't as confusing as I was fearing to be. So I recommend it.
