After finishing it for the first time 2 days ago and deciding it was my favourite game of all time, and i immediately replayed it and got the prophet ending which only took 3 1/2 hours after that i replayed it again this time fully to get the dream epilogue ending which took 8 hours and now i'm gonna talk mostly about the bonus dungeons that were added in the ds and steam ports:

I have very negative opinions on these but i recognize that they were not a part of the original game so it doesn't affect my opinion of it at all this part is just me talkign about how much the new bonus dungeons suck, so first of all i didn't even do the lost sanctum because i heard it was shit so i only did the dimensional vortex for this ending and even that was almost unbearable like these had easily some of the worst dungeon and boss designs i've ever played most of these dungeons consist of you fighting annoying enemies which drain your MP or are just fodder and that are badly placed and are just annoying and when you're done fighting some of the worst enemies in the game you arrive at some fork in the road where you have to guess where to go to with options ranging from 2 to like 6 doors or teleporters and if you go into the wrong one you have to do it again, and even worse if you're playing the 2300AD dimensional vortex you eventualy get trapped and have to fight with the party members that aren't in your party but ofcourse they suck even in new game plus because ofcourse you put your best equipment on your favourite party members so now you have to fight everything again but it's way harder and even more annoying.

So yeah this is my favourite game of all time and replaying it made me appreciate it even more and only took about 6 hours but i really don't recommend doing these stupid ass bonus dungeons that were added in later ports because they are just simply atrocious.

Just finished it and damn this is probably my favourite game of all time or atleast tied with Metal Gear Solid 3, it is truly a masterpiece and one of the greatest games of all time, sure it has flaws but what doesn't? The Music is beautiful and exciting, the art is amazing even for someone who isn't really a fan of dragon ball i think the art is really beautiful in this game, the gameplay is constantly engaging and has an almost perfect balance in difficulty, the game is short enough to not feel like it's overstaying it's welcome and the pacing is perfect, the story is one of the best ones in gaming although to be fair it did get a bit confusing towards the end. This is probably the game i have the least problems with overall and actually makes me want to replay it and get all the other different endings right now so, i'll see you soon after i beat this game again or probably when i start chrono cross.

2008

OFF is a game that immediately caught my eye when i first heard of it; I love rpg's, i love french media, i love surrealism.

So i rushed to play it after some research of where to download it so i don't almost install a zipbomb, and i really liked it atleast at first but slowly i began to dislike the gameplay i began finding it tedious and more of chore to play and mostly kept playing just so i finished it.

I am glad that i finished it and it is a really memorable and amazing experience but i just wish the gameplay was fun? and that's coming from someone that actually likes rpg gameplay maybe it just didn't fully click for me and i'll probably have to give it another shot in a couple of years but for now i appreciate OFF more than i enjoy playing it but i do recommend everyone play it because it's pretty short and it is worth having experienced it.

One of the most beautiful and heartbreaking stories all of gaming has to offer.

Okay so i'm apparently the first review on this game, um it's fine? I'm not gonna give it any score or anything because it's like 5 minutes long and that's if you explore everything the game has to offer it is more like some sort of easter egg hunt where you're just going around saying "oh i remember that from the first game" i don't mean to shit on this game since it's literally made just to get an interview with the creator of the original game and it does offer the idea of "cancer" which i find kinda interesting but it's nothing really special, i would recommend it if you like the first one because it is only 5 minutes long so you don't have anything to lose and it might be important for 3 but i don't know, i'm gonna find out.

Space Funeral does in only an hour what most RPG's barely achieve in 30-100 hours.

It's surreal, scary, funny, emotional and almost everything i want from a game, it has it flaws sure like you can walk through certain walls, long stretches of just walking and maybe the ending was a bit abrupt but i felt like most of it either doesn't really matter or actually adds to the game in some weird twisted way.

When i started this game i was expecting some short goofy game that i would just play real quick and probably forget and it was kind of goofy but as soon as i started it i realised it was something different from the music which really hit home to me and dare i say might be one of if not my favourite soundtrack to any videogame ever, the art is surreal and weird but also beautiful, the gameplay is like any basic rpg but it feels satisfying and fun.

I seriously did not expect to be impacted by a 1 hour rpgmaker game, it doesn't really have any emotionally impacting setpieces except maybe the interaction with leg towards the end but it has pieces spread throughout it which you can get your own emotional impact out of it.

Space Funeral is more of an audiovisual experience than a game to me,
if you've got a computer and a hour to spare you owe it to yourself to play this masterpiece.

Discovered it like most people from Marsh's video and i'm glad i played it because it is a really good game.

The gameplay is very basic but if you like rpg's you'll probably like this, the music can be a bit repetitive but it's also very memorable, the art is atleast in my opinion fantastic and i love the overall vibes The story can be a bit convoluted but it's really engrossing the more time you spend with these characters which actually brings me to one of my main problems with this game: the length, i have a probably where i stop playing games halfway through even if i love them (hell i had this problem with most of my favourite games) because they are pretty long and i get interested in something else, so Peret em Heru being only about 3 hours would probably perfect for me, right? No because it's actually too short, i wish we spend more time with these characters to get more invested in their stories and arcs and so the game doesn't constantly jump around, i understand that this game was made by like 2 people or something but i just wished it spend some more time in the oven to flesh it's story out and get a more complete experience like i said i do really like this game but i just think of how amazing it could have been because i love pretty much everything about it, it's just that it's too short to flesh anything out enough. It's definitely worth your time especially it being only 3 hours or so.

So this is actually like my 3rd playthrough but i didn't finish it the other 2 playthroughs because the first time i played it on ps4 and just didn't really like it that much (this was before i played dark souls 1) and i just generally don't like playing on my ps4 as much (i also didnt have the dlc on there so i'm kinda glad i played it through now with dlc) and the second time, i just couldn't get past the abyss watchers and just got interested in other games but this playthrough after playing the first dark souls and sekiro which are both some of my favourite games of all time i quickly fell in love with it, although i don't like it as much as those two although it is probably better than dark souls 1 but i thought the game was a bit too easy for a dark souls game atleast the early game like most bosses took me like less than 5 tries until bosses like dancer of the boreal valley and especially the nameless king also the poison swamps in this were kinda atrocious but it is a fantastic game.

Holy shit i finally beat it....

I first bought this game a little less than a year ago because i thought it looked so cool and loved samurai things and dark souls so this is actually the only game i bought at like full price 60$ because it just wouldn't go on sale when i wanted it so when i finally got it i think actually with my first or second paycheck i was so excited and just couldn't stop playing it and put like 20 hours into it then i got to the guardian ape.... and people that played this game know how much of a bitch this boss is because i probably spent like 10 hours on this boss and still couldn't beat it and kinda lost interested in the game now cut to a couple of months later when i started gaining interest in this game again, so i booted it up and realised that i forgot almost everything so i did what any sane person would do and restarted the game and i kinda blasted through it then mid way through i kinda lost interest again and stopped then a week ago i saw a close friend of mine play it and realised: damn i should probably finish it so i continued it, got to the guardian ape boss fight and it probably took like 5 hours but i finally beat it then i ofcourse had a lot of trouble with some other bosses but never really at that level then yesterday i finally got to the final boss and it took me from what i calculated almost 8 hours to beat that was like half an hour ago and holy shit im still kinda shaking, i finally beat it. I don't really know how to rate or review games because they are so complicated they are not as easy to rate as lets say films which are much more focused experiences and have much easier criteria for me and i just review films more then games (you can find my reviews on my letterboxd on my profile) so yeah i love this game but also had problems with it but at the end of the day when i look back on it i loved it and think it's one of the greatest games of all time.

Never really reaches the highs of any other resident evil game. it's still fun but it's just one of the lesser resident evil games and way too short even for a franchise that is known for being pretty short. 7/10

Pretty good and fun game but it sadly gets progressively worse although it doesn't ever become bad it's just way less good than the first part

A great game. This is the first SMT game i actually finished beside the persona titles and i did play some other smt games but i haven't finished those. This is a really good game i do have some problems with difficulty spikes and things like mudo which insta killed me multiple times and made me want to quit but for the rest it's just a really solid game. 9/10

i don't think i've ever loved a game so much that i am this bad at

Probably the greatest classicvania. It's just a damn good game that perfects everything the previous games did. although it isn't my favourite castlevania it is probably like my 3rd favourite besides SotN and AoS. There are a couple of flaws but they are kinda minor like maybe not having enough checkpoints and dracula at the end is maybe a bit too hard but he is doable. also why does dracula look so bad like he suddenly has orange hair for some reason which makes him much less menacing and scary but the second form kinda improved on that. 9/10

Just a great colorful and fun game but the third stage is awful
