played for an hour or so, it's kinda boring, maybe it shines later I dunno

One review for three MW titles - I played them one after another so it's hard to separate. The game is great — it's straightforward, cinematic and fun. The missions are diverse, you get a glimpse of different modern weapons — and you get to kill a lot of russians. What's not to love?

Fun, not too grindy, good experience. looking forward to the next installment

Love it, I wish there was more. I like the creative freedom it gives you to build any killing machine you'd like.

Fun gameplay, too bad it's so short. The 3 campaigns are very engaging, but I don't feel like it has a lot of replay value once you finish both main paths in each. Cool worldbuilding, fun card battles, but I just want to develop and live in it for longer, because I like to see how every choice matters, the friends you make help you, and so on. Just gimme more content!1

2018

It's nothing short of being awesome. The action is fun, the 'roguelike' elements and weapons bring variety to each run. The story and the characters are awesome, I loved the voice acting. Eventually I played it to the bone, completing more than 50 runs, but it's still fun to play from time to time. Waiting for Hades 2, fingers crossed.

I really liked the general idea (basebuilding+action), and had fun completing the game, but it has shortcomings, thus I can't really say the game is great.

While stuff is really fun while it's new, the whole process gets repetitive, both defending and exploring. Enemies are just a dumb mass who run to the nearest building, and it doesn't require much creativity in terms of basebuilding - place walls, turrets and it just works. The battles are Diablo-like grind without much variety. Just pick the right weapon and pew-pew. Weapons feel nice tho. The balance can be wonky, it's either too easy or too hard. I don't see much replayability here, it's not fun to do everything all over again, after you discover all the stuff.

2023: Прошёл ещё раз с начала до конца, с дополнениями Metal Terror и Into the Dark, интересно, но опять же — на один раз. Ничего глобально они не изменили, просто добавили more of the same.

completed the campaign, but didn't play random maps. the concept had a lot of potential, but it has so many shortcomings. hero missions are dumb. some missions are boring and poorly balanced. I wish it was better, I liked the general idea... it's so hard to find a decent strategy game these days

Can't say it's perfect, but the story and gameplay were good, I enjoyed completing it. Va bene!

The gameplay got a bit stale at the very end, so I didn't feel like completing every single objective besides the main story, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Vabenno.

The plot was a bit weird at times (with 'the numbers' and stuff), but thrilling nevertheless - and the game is well-made, with diverse action and fun gameplay.

it was fun for a while, but ultimately got boring. it's not as creative as it looks.

You get to explore and solve simple puzzles — but the core is pretty straightforward action. Don't think it has replayability value, but I liked.
