An excellent platforming game for the NES. The cane mechanic sets this one apart from other games of its time, and makes for a fun time.

A challenging platformer game with a bit of a learning curve to its controls.

There's no more iconic game on the Sega Genesis than this one. The music, the beautiful graphics, the terrific levels with just the right amount of difficulty. The game does taper off towards the end, and Sonic 3K improves upon it in every single way, but still a darn good time.

A fun top-down racing game. Not much else to it, aside the fact you can buy upgrades to your vehicle between races. A game I always go back to, especially on the Master System.

Even for a Godzilla fan, this one is probably a game you want to skip. You destroy stuff, occasionally face a monster, rinse, repeat. You use tank controls and you are incredibly slow. It looks fantastic and all the monster models are well-done, but it's just not fun.

This game is fun if you have the patience for it. The level design is more geared through exploring, something that is lost on Sonic players that like to speed through levels. Give it a chance, especially the Taxman version on PC, I think you'll enjoy it.

The story and new ideas introduced here were great, but not enough to save the game from eternal hand holding.

The REAL Doom 3. The level design is a halfway between Doom 1 and Doom 2, with the puzzle elements of the second game and the more linear nature of the first. I think that makes for a more enjoyable experience than Doom II personally. Still, there are some cryptic moments in the game that I won't spoil, and those bottomless pits are just plain bad.

A fun game, but not as interesting as the first two games in the series. It's neat to play with different superpowers, but I think First Light, the spin-off of this game, is just more compelling.

Though not as fun as Berzerk, I still find myself spilling quarters into Robotron 2084: a twin stick shooter that would set the stage for Smash TV and XenoCrisis later down the line.

This could possibly be the best game on the Atari 2600. Once I start this I cannot stop until all the cities are nuked. Only thing that would make this better is a trak ball.

Another classic. Though it looks better raster in arcades, it plays better with the joystick on the 2600.

The prototypical Cowboy video game. Yeehaw this game rules pardner!

There are few games that are a true experience in life as this one. The story, which seems like a James Bond-esque romp on the surface, is actually the story of a man who has to turn against his own system of beliefs in order to serve his country: a plot that will lead to him questioning both himself and governments of the world for decades (and future installments of the series) to come.

This game is better than base Pac-Man just on the fact that it has more than one level. In turbo mode, this is probably the best arcade game ever made.
