This game is cruel. It throws everything at you and uses every trick in the book to screw you over. And I loved nearly every turn of it.

Imagine yourself as Leif. You’ve spent your whole life on the run in a realm ruled over by a bloodthirsty cult. You must fight the cult’s powerful army starting with no gold and a few fellow villagers. Over the course of this ordeal, you and your friends become stronger. You start to use the enemy’s tricks against them. Much like Genealogy, Thracia truly makes you feel like you’re in a war. You must carefully choose who and what to bring, and who to leave behind to recharge for the coming battles. You must decide what to keep and what to sell. On top of that, Thracia builds upon Jugdral in brilliant ways. It fleshes out the second generation further, and expands upon the events that took place in Genealogy.

Overall, Thracia 776, while not quite as strong as Genealogy story wise, kicks its ass in the gameplay department. This is one of the best Fire Emblem games without question. Don’t let the fear of fatigue, ambush spawns or BS RNG drive you away from this masterpiece.

WarioWare: Get it Together manages to find the medium between sticking to its devices while also trying something pretty new. Controlling the lovable recurring cast of the WarioWare games, you use their special moves to beat the various tasks in hundreds of rapid-fire microgames. Some of the characters are definitely better than others, specifically any character that you can control, and even better if that person can fly. I admire the amount of mechanics and the idea that every game works with every character, but some are definitely more of a handicap.

The story mode is cool, exactly what to expect, but the game opens up a lot once you beat it in about 2 hours. I haven't dove into all the party modes, but what's there is a lot of fun, with an asterisk that you may have to run people through the tutorials before picking up the game for the first time.

A host of collectibles and missions stand in the way of completing the game, time will tell if I go back and the game has enough staying power to compel me to do so.

this series gave me brain damage

Cutesy aesthetics, but don’t let that fool you into a difficult game this is.

i had to put my socks on my hands for it to recognize both my face and my hands at the same time and then it was fun i gotta admit that it made me chuckle and the last stage asked me to bring a second person so i used my elbow to trick the game into thinking it was a second face and it worked except for the last minigame.
it made me feel like a loser 4/10 only because mona is in it mnade me feel less lonely

She’s got her hair tied up in braids, and glasses perched up on her face! She is a small girl! Taking on a big world! With inventions she made!

Really fun game, but it feels a bit too short

One of the most visually stunning and aesthetically daring games that has even been tossed onto a GBA cartridge. Add on tight, satisfying controls and consistently fun and wild level design, and you really have one of the greatest underdogs in Nintendo's catalogue.

Those mini-games do suck ass, though.
