It's not often that a game makes audibly say "whoa" or gasp at multiple points throughout. Animal Well feels like the kind of game that is going to be hit or miss, but if it hits for you then you can expect to be blown away. Between the music, art direction, incredibly tight platforming, and puzzles that make you feel a genuine sense of wonder, everything combines into a fresh experience that will be talked about for years to come. I can only hope we don't have to wait another 7 years for the next Billy Basso joint.
