i played the game entirely in coop (never finished a fromsoft game solo im bad at video games) so im sure i had a very different experience than intended as its not challenging at all in 2p haha. but everything about the game is absolutely gorgeous so i had a great time
one of the best games ive ever played. god so fucking good. clears every other aa game (even aai2). My only note is that i wish van zieks had better writing for most of the games bc hes so hot
case 2 was annoying and the lack of investigation until chapter 4 was annoying but sholmes iris and gina make up for all the games flaws tenfold. best character writing ive seen in an aa game easily (though aai2 comes close) and im very excited to see where two takes it
just as bad as people say it is WTF did they do to apollo. genuinely cannot believe that this was directed by the same guy that did aai2
So fun and silly ... What a wild ride. great game with a great story and some amazing animals
to be honest the more i sit with it the more i dislike it. the meta world stuff is cool and i love lambda bern and lion but most of the game really does nothing for me. i get what ryukishi was going for but i find it to be incredibly anticlimactic and disappointing in all honesty. when its good its really good though and it has some fantastic character writing so that brings its rating up a bit. it excels as a collection of character studies but fails absolutely miserably as a cohesive story to me
i genuinely have no words to describe, in detail, how absolutely flawless this VN is. absolutely perfect in every way

starts slow as fuck (its umineko) but def best chapter so far imo. god its actually picking up now thank god. i do admire the fact that this far into the game only one thing has been answered though
pacing fucking sucks but my lord does it pay off in the ??? section. my opinion of this game before and after i finished it is night and day lol. i was kinda expecting the answer arcs to be similar to higurashi's in that meakashi gives u a clear explanation of watanagashi etc etc, but thats not this games fault its obviously a very different story and ive clearly learned all expectations should be thrown out the window. also dleanor is so cool. DIE THE DEATH

cool stuff, the whole red text gimmick is a really cool way to approach a mystery story. still have no idea whats going on but im very excited to find out
