I love the original Dead Space, so going back to it for the first time in almost 15 years really activated my nostalgia. It's basically as you remember the original to be, but with some surprises along the way. It being so recognisable is a good thing, because the original was already such a fantastic game. The addition of some side quests and the overall incredible sound design make this one of the best horror games I've ever played. I will definitely return for New Game + in the future.

Hi-Fi Rush is - without a doubt - one of the funniest games I've played in a while. What a ballsy move to just shadow drop it out of nowhere. There are so many reasons to recommend this game: the combat is spot on, the cast is great, the overall story works well and the style... man, the style might just be the best part! You should definitely give Hi-Fi Rush a chance if you have Game Pass. And if not, then I would still recommend it, because it's simply that much fun!

And if you're afraid the game might be too difficult for you, then don't worry. It does an amazing job of teaching you the basics and giving you all the help you might need. A toddler could play it. Well... maybe.

If you love INSIDE, you might like this. Otherwise, I'm not sure I can really recommend it.

I like playing Overwatch 2. In terms of gameplay, it feels like a natural progression from the original. It's fast-paced, exciting and much less cluttered. Honestly, if you're complaining about the game being too similar to the original and Blizzard hasn't changed enough, all I can say is: you're joking, right?

That being said, everything around the actual gameplay is a bit lackluster and half baked. I enjoy completing my daily and weekly challenges, but the rewards are often not very interesting and exclusive to specific heroes, which leaves you hoping for a little more.

Overwatch 2 has potential, but they do gotta figure out how to monetize the game in a better and more enjoyable way, because I'm not sure this is sustainable in the long run.

Lots of falling down and getting up.

Jack Move is a cute little role-playing game that you can finish in just a couple of hours. The combat might become a little repetitive after a while, but with a decent story, fun characters and some of the best animations I've seen in a game like this, I definitely felt it was worth my time.

2022

I guess this is what they call short and sweet.

At first, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy Neon White. The game seemed extremely sweaty to me when the first trailer dropped, but seeing the incredible scores it received after launch I couldn't help myself (yet again). And boy, was I wrong. Neon White is is fast paced, highly engaging and easy to learn. The levels are fairly similar to each other in the way you play, but often offer different routes and combinations of actions to complete. There wasn't a moment I was bored going through one of the more than 100 stages in the game. The charaters and dialogue (and there's more of that than you would initially expect) are cringe, but in a good way. I see a lot of people commenting on this and from the looks of it, some are actually bothered by it, but I think it perfectly complimented the whole vibe of the game. You shouldn't take anything, except the actual gameplay, too serious. Beating the levels, finding all the gifts and always trying to sharpen your times is one of the most entertaining gameplay loops I've seen this year. The game also brought back some nostalgic memories of myself playing the original Mirror's Edge on my old 360. If you love that one as well, you should definitely give Neon White a chance!

Who knew that Hollow Knight Waiting Room Simulator could be GOTY.

Decent, but I expected a little bit more. The new combat mechanics were nice, but are little confusing at times. I do hope to see more of Yuffie in Remake Part 2, she's a fun character that could be great with more backstory.

Basically an interactive short story.

Play this game. It's a lot of reading, but the lore is some of the most enthralling I've read. Add to that the absolutely beautiful soundtrack and amazing art, and you have a game that will definitely stay with you for a long time.

This game is something else. As someone who often starts skipping dialogue halfway through, I am absolutely amazed at how Disco Elysium managed to captivate me from beginning to end. Sure, there were moments where I felt the dialogue went over my head, but I was alright with that. The charaters, the writing, the art direction, the world... all of it was mesmerizing from top to bottom. Even though I was a little nervous in the beginning, because I rarely play games like this and was afraid that I would find it hard to get into, Disco Elysium does a great job of making you feel lost at first, but slowly getting a hold of things and actually feel like you're getting somewhere. It only took a couple of hours for me to get hooked and I couldn't let go until I saw the credits roll.

If you are even slightly interested in card games, I recommend you play this. Don't watch any trailers, just go in blind. I'm sure you will love it and find it a lot more surprising than you initially thought.
