It took me for a ride and then some. I remember wanting to play this game at the arcades so badly. I had MvC1 at home but I really wanted to play this game. It was at my local mall and we didn't go there very often and when we did I would beg my mom to let me play it at least once. Everytime there would be too many people playing and waiting and I wasn't allowed to stay that long. I wanted to try out the new character so bad but I'm so very bad at arcade sticks. I would practice with gambit in MvC1 so I would at least have one character who I could kinda play when I picked a team in MvC2. Then I would always pick Jill as my second cause I'm a huge RE fan and it was really crazy seeing her here and then one new character.

When the game was finally announced for the PS2 i was so excited. I can play this whenever I want!? I put many many hours into this game. Mainly played in single player too. Only so offer forcing my brother to play with me. I just love Capcom and Marvel so much and having a huge game with so many characters that's a blast to play was really special. I remember thinking I was hot shit cause I was really good in arcade mode on the hard difficulty. Lol I learned how little I knew eventually. Who cares though MvC2 is just pure fun.

Sendo um fighting game totalmente acessível para iniciantes, que apenas queriam se divertir com os populares heróis da marvel, mas que possui um ceiling alto, sendo recompensador se esforçar para aprender combos e estratégias
infelizmente, nem tudo são flores, já que o jogo é extremamente mal balanceado, considerando que os personagens mais fortes são consideravelmente mais úteis que os que estão no fundo do meta
em resumo, um jogo gigante, que fugiu de seu nicho e expandiu o conhecimento dos fighting games para diversos jovens dos anos 2000

I suck ass at this game and it's broken as shit so every time I play this with an actual other human on the other end I get clapped 8 ways to next week before I can even land a single punch. But this game is so mfin good dude you have no idea. The game may be broken and imbalanced, but BECAUSE it's so broke it becomes hype as shit. The roster is one of the best rosters I have seen in games with really cool and wacky picks from both sides. The style is OFF THE CHARTS with the presentation of everything and the OST is one of the most iconic in fighting games. This game absolutely will take you for a ride.

Minha primeira experiência com fighting games na vida, no ps2 com um controle que não era nem um pouco funcional, mas mesmo assim essa obra conseguiu me cativar de uma forma absurda, virei noites pra liberar todos os personagens e mesmo sem saber o que eu tava fazendo acabei me apaixonando por fighting games, ele foi a porta de entrada pra vários outros títulos que me proporcionaram conhecer pessoas incríveis e criar amizades melhores ainda, mesmo depois de 24 anos do lançamento original ele continua sendo o meu jogo de luta favorito.

For me, this is the closest thing to the perfect fighting game.

Lots of amazing 2d art, fun stage design, great sound effects and iconic music. Beyond that, the roster of available characters is extensive.

If you're a fan of fighting games, Marvel, or Capcom, then definitely give MvC2 a try.

I'm not the biggest fighting game guy, but man the nostalgia with this game, the style, the music...damn. I remember playing this on a big-ass arcade machine when malls still had arcades and it was amazing. Even revisiting it, the style on display here is impeccable; that huge meaty n' thick roster...

I just like game.
